I always knew I was paying to much for the Wellness Plan, but the convenience made it worth it (#melazy). Although, it has become increasingly more apparent that they only care about the bottom line and truly do not have the best interest of you or your pet in mind. Understand, you and your pet ARE an "Up Sell" opportunity and nothing more. Banfield is a large corporate monster that forgot they are dealing with folks that take better care of their pets then they do themselves. On second thought, they didnt forget that, THEY prey on it. So, now with their not so user friendly new scheduling program, the convenience factor is gone as well. I accepted the overpaying for many years and even understood that I was just an "open wallet" in their eyes, but now they are making it more difficult for me to schedule my five dogs for their routine check-ups. Sometimes its only takes the slightest thing to tip the scales of worth it or not. The benefit no longer out weighs the negatives. I will be fulfilling my current obligations and pulling each dog away from this corporate beast as their individual contracts expire. Youd be wise to do your research before deciding to partner with Banfield Pet Hospital. By the way.... You can sign up for the program at your local office, but if you want to not be on the AUTO RENEW plan or you have to remove a pet for any reason... Youll have to call in and talk to "Jake" at their Washington state headquarters. So heres to keeping more of my money local and supporting the small guy.

Just setup a wellness plan via their 1-877 number. The guy told me we could call and setup an appointment today, as long as it was scheduled 3 days out from today. I called the local office to make that appointment. The employee answering told me we had to wait 3 days to call in and set up an appointment. That would not be a problem if we werent trying to plan other obligations around them. I told her that corporate said she should not have a problem setting up the appointment. She then sarcastically asked for my number and said "no clients on record". I then asked if she could just set up the appointment and pull us up in the system when we come in. She replied "I can try to work around this." Now, Ive never worked in a Banfield but Im sure you could have done this from the start...you just prefer not to because its a small bit of extra work for you. She was rude and acted if she didnt care. If the others in the area turn out to be the same way...bye bye Banfield. Other vet offices are starting to do similar wellness programs.

I brought all three of my animals in for teeth cleaning. (It was the first time for all three animals) I was super nervous and very hesitant due to the fact that they would need to be put to sleep. I was full of questions and was on the boarder of even going through with the procedure. Sharon at check-in was very helpful and professional. Jasmine the vet tech checked us all in. She listened to my concerns and documented every detail I wanted and didnt want done to my animals due to previous experiences with other vets. Jasmine was so patient. She answered everything throughly and explained in great detail what the day ahead was to look like for all three of my animals. I cant thank Dr. Bryan enough for her due diligence. She called me and informed me on each animal. She gave me a break down on how their blood work came back, their conditions, and what steps she would be doing to make sure they were in great hands. I cant thank the Banfield team enough for their great team work and excellent service.

I have a beautiful 10 month old yorkshire terrier. Since I have had him (7 weeks old) he has been a patient with Banfield Hospital. Recently, I brought Cash in for an emergency visit. The office staff is completely different from the individuals who worked there while Kash received his vaccines and it definitely shows. There is not enough room here to explain my experiences with the new staff including one of the new veterinarians there, Jessica Maines. Aside from barely listening whenever I come in..the receptionist, Alma, is very short and rude. She exudes "I am overworked and I am only here for the check." The vet barely took her time to answer any of the medical questions that I had concerning Kash. If you have not already locked yourself into a plan with Banfield, go elsewhere where your office visits will be pleasant.

We regretfully have had to fire them as our dogs primary care provider due to; lack of customer service and common sense. We have been going here since we got our puppy. Today, we had a 15 minute appointment for her rabies shot. Due to traffic on the Expressway we were 4 minutes late. By the time we were check in we were 7 minutes late. We were denied service for being late-technically 4 minutes. The lady checking us in lacked empathy and common sense. And, of course, there was no manager on site. Our only option was the schedule another appointment for another day. I am sorry my time is worth something and this is unacceptable to us. If they are going to fret over 4 minutes, will they really respond after hours if we have an emergency? I am not going to risk it! Poor customer service! Will never trust this brand again!

Emergency brought us to this location. The bulldog ingested sego palm particles and weed & feed from paw licking, along with other unidentified plant matter. The staff prioritized his care immediately called poison animal hot line, determined treatment and proceeded. All within 20 minutes of arrival. When they closed we were referred to a great emergency over night clinic to continue treatment. This morning the dog was taken back to Banfield and monitoring and great care proceeded. Very happy with care and concern given to this senior citizen bulldog.

The vet was 18 minutes late to our appointment! And after spending almost $200 with them I found the exact same medication she prescribed on 1-800-PETMEDS for half the price they charged us! There are like 6 vet techs just standing around and Im sure the over priced medication is how they get their pay checks. Also while waiting for the vet (who was late) I saw a flea jump ONTO my dog! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Both of my roommates had cats. When the first one became extremely ill the staff was unhelpful, unsympathetic, and rude. They were more concerned about the money than the pet. When my other roommates cat became deathly ill they were told the vet could not fit them in period end of story. We will never use banfield again. If you must use banfield go to the town center site.

Only about their money. They will call you to renew and see if you want to purchase something, but the minute the vet is supposed to call you back about the next steps of your pet or to see how he is doing you never hear from them. You have to call them and you better hope your pets doctor is in because if they are out for the day no other doctor will want or care to see or speak to you
