BE AWARE OF THESE REVIEWS!! The only reason these reviews are positive is because if you showed the Vet a positive review you get 10% off your bill. On 2 separate occasions we took our kittens in to have a procedure done. Afterwards we noticed that our kittens health started to worsen. So we took them back in to have them checked out. The doctor told us they were fine, they just needed a little more time to recover. Another 2 weeks went by and their health still getting worse, so we took them in again. The doctor said that they still seemed ok, but ordered some blood work. A week later the test came back and they told us some interesting things and order some more tests. When the results came back all they told us was that the kittens immune system was fighting very hard against something. A couple day later we found out that they had FIP, which is incurable. Our kittens were tested for everything before we purchased them and they were in great health before seeing the vet. So after receiving the horrible news that both were going to live very much longer, they told us that they could run some more tests but it would probably just prolong the process. There was no feeling of remorse on their end, we just felt they wanted to run more tests to get more money. So long story short, we took in 2 perfectly healthy kittens and had to watch them both pass away within a month of taking them in to see the vet. To make things even worse we were hit with about $1000+ worth of bills, which I tried to tell them was ridiculous and wasnt paying. They ran a bunch of needless tests when all of the symptoms clearly pointed to 1 thing. We felt severely taken advantage of. Needless to say we do not go to this vet anymore. We bought 2 more wonderful kittens and they are in perfect health and being cared for by our new vet.

I was a patient of Hudson Veterinary Hospital after my vet., Dr. Colwell, transferred his practice there. On two occasions I had to take in my dog for swelling in her foot. Both times he was treated by another vet. as Dr. Colwell was not in on those days. The second visit he recommended surgery on the foot. Dr. Colwell had told me some time ago he would never operate on the foot as it was in too sensitive of an area. I decided to go for a second opinion with the chief surgeon of a large practice nearby. He echoed what I had heard from Dr. Colwell and said only a experienced board certified surgeon should attempt this surgery. I subsequently had evaluation done by such a surgeon and she said she could do the surgery but that was not the issue causing the problem but the effect of something further up her structure. I could of had unneeded surgery by a surgeon who might not have been qualified to do so. My other issue with this practice is that they provide 10% off your bill if you bring in your Google review. Now what type of results do you think that encourages? This is a well established practice in Hudson which has treated many pets in a quality manner. My experience was different.

We have been using the Hudson Veterinary Hospital for close to 12 years with absolute trust in all of the staff. We feel that our animals receive the best of care and compassion. Our one dog, a rescue, had a serious medical condition that reoccurred after we adopted her. The knowledgeable Veterinarians knew the right course of treatment to cure our dog. She is in wonderful shape now and enjoying life to the fullest. We have had procedures performed on both of our current dogs and a cat we once owned. They all turned out well. Our animals are never afraid to go to see their "doctor." They are always calm during exams because all of the the staff treat them so well. We also buy our dog food at this place because we do not trust any other establishment with the well being of our animals. Any time we have had a need to see the doctor right away, we have been accommodated immediately. We could not ask for better care. I would recommend this place to all who want their animals medical care managed in a responsible, current fashion.

We are immensely grateful to Hudson Veterinary Hospital and we appreciate all that the staff does for us. Our family has been a client of the Hudson Veterinary Hospital since 1991 and we have found them to be always very professional and friendly. We can ask any question and be informed without being rushed, even during busy times at the office since there is always ample staffing. Over time we have had many pets, large and small. There have been ample opportunities to change our veterinary service but why would we? We are receiving excellent care, excellent service, and the best medical advice at reasonable prices. It is comforting to know that Dr. Roberts (Dr. Bob) and Dr. Funk (Dr. Mark), the techs, and the staff are very understanding, fair, and responsive to our needs. Actually in truth, at times they have gone above and beyond our expectations. The hours of operation are very convenient as well. We highly recommend Hudson Veterinary Hospital to those who care about their pets.

Ive entrusted my dalmatian, and now my precocious calico to the expert, caring hands of Dr. K and the staff of Hudson Vet for a decade. The services have been consistently exceptional, to the great benefit of my furry family members. Dr. K has always gone above and beyond the normal standard of care - available by email when there are issues or questions needing follow-up. He is an extremely gifted and personable vet, having been voted by his colleagues as one of the best vets in Westchester - well deserved. The staff are wonderful and of high quality - caring and gentle at all times. I couldnt recommend them more highly.

I live in Washington DC. I had planned on doing the surgery to remove my dog Daisys bad eye there but really couldnt afford it. A Hudson local, Laura Gentile, who works with horses, said I should drive to Hudson Veterinary Hospital. I could not be happier. The staff was kind and very considerate. They scheduled the surgery first thing in the morning so I could pick up Daisy the same day. They gave me very detailed instructions and said to call any time of night with problems. The price was 1/3 the D.C. price and LESS THAN ESTIMATED! That never happens in DC. Five stars. Worth the six hour drive.

I have never boarded my two little ones. We had no choice since we would be gone a week and couldnt bring them. I was so nervous. After meeting the staff I felt a little better. I would check in to see how they were doing. They were eating and enjoying play time and no anxiety behavior. Peter took good care of them and didnt mind my frequent phone calls. If I have to go out of town again or on an extended day trip I would not hesitate to leave them in the care of Hudson Veterinary Hospital. Thank you all very much! God bless you all and the little ones you take care of.
