Our family pets were patients at Animal Care Center for more than 20 years. On July 1, 2016 our dog, Mr. Bean, underwent a dental cleaning. Four days later on July 5th he had a seizure as I held him. We called ACC and said we were bringing him straight there. They said no, they couldnt see him because they were short staffed due to the holiday. They suggested that we take him to the animal hospital nearby. Even after explaining about his recent dental treatment at THEIR office, we were still turned away. We headed to the hospital and from the car, we called ACC once more and, again, we were turned away by a different secretary. After hearing our story, the staff at the hospital was stunned that ACC refused to see us. The hospital did the best they could without his records, recent x-rays, and details of what happened during the dental cleaning. Mr. Bean did not recover. Later that day, we had to make the heart wrenching decision to tell him goodbye. I do believe that ACC has good doctors. In my opinion, those in charge of the business side have lost their way. No more large companies for our family.

I would recommend this place to anyone with a pet. I take all 3 of my pets (2 cats & a dog) here & have never had a bad experience. The staff & doctors genuinely care about your pets well-being. I used to go to Grady but the cost was expensive. Recently my dog had to get an amputation due to Osteosarcoma located in her shoulder. Let me just say how affordable the procedure was. Dr Corfman was absolutely wonderful, very helpful, patient & willing to answer our many questions. I appreciated his openness & honesty about this cancer, procedure, & her future. He even called each day to check on our Lady (Rott). It has been a little over 3 weeks & she is up & running as if nothing ever happened. Side note: I got a call from the staff & Dr Corfman had identified where I had been overcharged & they corrected it for me. Where does that ever happen?! All-in-all I couldnt be anymore happier with this facility. Theyve got my business!!!

On Friday 10-19-12 I had to take my Toy Fox Terrier in to Animal Care Center because of Vomiting, I called at 9:30am, got an appointment for 10:40am. Took my dog in and instantly got taken to a room. The vet tech was SUPER friendly, I told her my dogs symptoms and she instantly told me it sounds like Parvovirus. Minutes later Dr.Lisa came in to tell me it was Parvo and explained what they were going to do to try to fix this. The vet tech came back in and explained to me their Dog wellness plan, which made my visit, and his first two hospitalized days free. If you have a dog, I HIGHLY recommend the wellness plan! Its cheap and very much needed!! My dog was there Friday-Wednesday. Like a worried mother I called every day, and Even on Sunday, the vet called ME to give me an update. They saved my dog, and Im highly grateful for that! The staff was super friendly!

I am disappointed to write this because this is really a nice looking facility. The only thing is the customer service is lacking and the people arent very friendly. We were returning from a weekend trip and were slightly delayed by traffic on the way home. I called a few times and spoke with the same girl asking if they could make a small exception for me to pick up 10 minutes past close. I understand its "policy" to close at 3 but I wouldve thought a small favor couldve been granted when I called in advance and was very polite. Unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears and I showed up 10 minutes late to find the doors were locked even though there were 3 cars still parked in the lot meaning there were still people inside not answering the door or the phone. It had been a long weekend and I was really looking forward to seeing my dog. Disappointing for sure.

I usually go to Reed Hartman, but decided to give this location another try because they had openings when my dog needed to go. The ladies at the front are great and always welcoming, but the male doctor that always sees my dog is usually never cheery or happy to see us. I understand giving facts and things, but there could be a little better interaction from the doctors to the pet owners. Even when they call to check up, it seems like they are calling because they have to and dont actually care.. its a bummer because I know its possible as every doctor as reed hartman acts as if they genuinely care and want to be helping your pet. Though I gave them another chance, I will have to make sure I always go to Reed Hartman because I dont want to feel like Im a burden to their job every time I go. I go because I have to, not because I want to.

I took my dog in with what I thought was a possible obstruction and was prepared to walk out of the office with a couple thousand dollar bill. June was an emergency case and we had almost no wait to be seen. The techs were friendly and helpful giving me additional info on their payment plans. And Dr. Haeussler was absolutly thorough in the exam and expressed great concern but wasnt quick to push any unnecessary procedures or medications. I find it rare to come across a vet today that isnt trying to guilt you into doing as many procedures they can get you to. Dr. Haeussler assured me he thought all was well but promised if her symptoms got worse hed give me a perscription without another office visit. I was completely pleased with every aspect of this office and will be sure to only go there from this point on.

I have never been inside this care center till August 10 when as an emergency (our normal veterinarian was closed) we had to take our little girl Hermione in to be helped over the Rainbow Bridge. Everyone was so kind and caring. Mrs. Lewis made us feel as comfortable as she could during such an emotional time. She was gentle and patient. That in its self made a great impression on us but then today after we picked up her ashes we came home to a beautiful letter in the mail from David Haeussler with sympathy and it was signed from all the staff. He said he made a donation to "Save The Animals Foundation" in Hermiones honor. Also enclosed was a beautiful poem. This is a very caring and compassionate place.

I only used Forest Park facility once for my pet to be groomed (I go to the Blue Ash location which does not offer grooming). I think the groomer did a wonderful job grooming my giant schnauzer puppy. He smelled fantastic for a long time, too. I want what she bathed him in. I would give it 4 stars because the facility does not offer grooming for dogs above 50 pounds so I cant take him anymore. That is really disappointing because it was the best groom he has had so far. However, it is definitely be a 5 star rating for dogs under 50 pounds. The staff was really nice and the groomer called to let me know how he behaved during the grooming process.

This is an absolutely amazing vet office to take your pet. I actually just happened to stop in one day to get a dog I found scanned for a micro chip and they were wonderful. Just so happens we had just gotten a puppy as well so that one visit made my decision so easy. They have the best puppy plan that is so affordable and comes with many perks. I would strongly strongly recommend this office to any friend, family or stranger. We have only seen Dr. Corfman and he is great. Him and his staff are so nice, friendly and helpful.
