We have always had good experiences with South Rhea Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly and I feel like they really care about my fur babies. They are gentle and thorough when we take our babies in for check ups or sick visits. We had one puppy that had parvo and the skilled staff working there is the only reason our baby survived. They called me regularly with updates when we had to leave her a couple of days. In my opinion, they go beyond what is required to give our pets the best possible care. This is the only veterinarian I will ever take my pets to.

The staff at South Rhea have always been friendly and helpful for us and our four-legged family members. Ive never had a bad experience here, but its also not the creme de la creme of vet clinics that you might find in more affluent locations. The costs of services strike me as quite reasonable. I could do without all the religious signs and such, but it is Dayton, so not too unusual.

The vets here do not what they are doing! Twice I brought my animals for treatment here and they refered to River animal hospital (after charging me $300+). They need to be upfront and if they dont have the skills tell customer up front. I dont have money to waste because they dont have the skills to perform the SERVICE. BOTTOM LINE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

I adore the people that work here. Every time I go, they are so kind to my babies. Dr. Price is so sweet and helpful, and the techs are just as nice. Ive never had to wait and they showed kindness to my sweet pup that she so desperately craves. I would drive many miles to come back here if I ever needed. Amanda Loven

The people that work there are completely uninterested, unhelpful and annoyed at being there and having to be helpful, had some very very very bad experiences here, and have never even seen an actual vet. If you love your pet, do not go to this animal hospital. Seriously, dont.

South Rhea has really gone downhill. I brought my dog in for her annual check up and after being there almost an hour listening to a bunch of screaming kids, we left. This place was awesome when Dr Nix was here, but not anymore. Sorry, wont be back
