I first called and talked about my new-to-me 8 year old cat. My father had passed away and I brought the kitty to live with me after a traumatic 10 hour journey on top of his greiving. I stated I wanted a thorough checkup because he was not a good traveler and knew it would be easy for him not to have to get out very many times. I got in the next day and when I arrived, everything was standard. The vet tech was really nice and took the kitty to draw blood for tests (later learned it was only feline leukemia, aids and heartworms even though I asked for a complete workup.) My kitty was VERY scared and his heartbeat had become fast and he was shedding and distressed. Dr. Wilson came in after the tests taken were clear and was VERY loud with a deep voice and it echoed off the concrete floors, he didnt make ANY attempt to lower his register or be gentle with my cat. The cat was even more scared after he came in the room. He listened to his heart and gave him his shots and was like "ok"...I had several questions regarding flea protection, food, calming chews Id seen in his office. He answered my questions and I ended up buying an additional $150 in products from them. I came home and kitty was scared so I gave him a calming chew and he seemed alright. However, in the middle of the night, kitty was panting and grunting. I called their office and the answering machine had a ER vet to go to (not even an oncall person.) I took my cat to the overnight ER (traumatizing him more) and they faxed the info to them and I expected a call when the clinic opened at 8-no call came. I called them at 8:30 and the receptionist said shed tell the doctor and have them call me.... 1.5 hours later, I finally got a call and they were very curt and just said to bring him in, offering no suggestions to my traumatized cat. At that point, I was done and a coworker suggested a visiting pet vet, a mobile vet. They came right to my house and took care of my kitty, didnt even make him leave his house and were so gentle....I only wish I asked sooner.

I brought my 13 year old lab in because of a rash on his side, they said it was staph and prescribed him an antibiotic. They didnt skin scrape nothing, but I trusted them because theyre the professionals right? 2 weeks later, he had an open fleshy tumor on his side where the rash was and new rashes all over his poor old body. They finally did a skin scrape to grow a culture bc they now assumed it was ring worm. They also stuck a needle in the tumor and said they did a biopsy but it came back clear of cancer cells. A month and a half later, already having been on an atifungual specifically for ringworm, hes now wayyyy worse with open sores covering him from head to toe and more huge tumors. I was fed up and called another vet. When he saw him, right away he said that is wasnt ringworm and actually did a thorough hands on evaluation. Its not freaking ringworm its freaking cancer and blastomycosis, a type of fungal infection thats in ZERO WAYS SIMILAR to ringworm. All of which are now so far advanced we have to PUT HIM DOWN. On top of that my new vet found a biopsy was NEVER DONE. This clinic has basically killed my dog. Im so heartbroken and angry that these people have taken away my furbaby I cant see straight. This place should be shut down.

I have been to 4 different vets in this town and have yet to encounter a full staff that is loving and affectionate towards my beloved babies. I had an appointment within 20 minutes of calling and had them taken care of when 2 other vets didnt give me enough information for a serious procedure!! Dr. Wilson took enough time to explain to me everything I needed to know and fixing the problems while the girl was spoiling my cats with attention! I will definitely be back for all of my animals and anything I need. These people are truly blessings to those that seek quality care for their animal friends.

Ive had nothing but trouble. My dog was having issues. They suggested an xray and we agreed. They came back and said they couldnt see anything because she just ate. My logic is, if you are a professional talking to concerned clients, wouldnt you ask of the dog had eaten so that you could make an informed decision? I promise they are a money pit and will do anything to gain a dollar by using situations like the one I just explained against you. Go to another vet.

I had a 32 hour old pet fly named Frank. When i strolled into these doors with him attached to a balloon string they laughed at me and said "we dont treat that kind". I dont know about you guys but this is America. It doesnt matter the color, species or sex. I should be treated like an actual customer. Frank later died when he could have gotten medical attention. Now I am forced to find another companion because life is too short, as Frank has shown me.

I have been taking my dogs to Mountainstone for a few years. The doctors and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The doctors always call very promptly to inform me about their bloodwork, etc. Lori, the groomer does great work! She is so kind and compassionate with my fur babies. I cant imagine going anywhere else.
