Worst experience with a Pet Hospital in 60 years of pet ownership! Went in for a scheduled appointment for a rabies vaccination. I was sent to an exam room & forced to wait for an hour, which totally stressed my dog. The sole purpose of the wait appeared to to be subject me to several very aggressive sales pitches, selling their Wellness program, additional vaccinations & dental treatments for our rescue dog of 8 years we call Fugley. Only when I advised them I was about to walk out & get the vaccination elsewhere, was Fugley taken into the back room and given the shot within 2 minutes. We will NEVER go to the Banfield Pet Hospital again! Their "practice manager" Kelly Shell called me this afternoon. Said she was sorry I had such a bad experience, but wasnt prepared to do anything to resolve the problem. Profits over customers & puppies.

I brought my 11 yr old shetland sheepdog in for drop off visit and testing when she stopped eating, was showing no energy, urinating frequently, and very bloated and hard in the abdomen. The were extremely kind and patient and communicated continually through her stay, what they were doing and the results of the tests. She ended up having to have emergency surgery to remove her infected and inflamed uterus. She is slowly on the mend now and could not have asked for a better experience especially when it mattered most and saved my pets life. Would HIGHLY recommend this veterinary hospital !!!

We LOVE Banfield at Hixson! Our dog has severe problems with strangers and all the vets here are SO accommodating. They understand his stress and work with him at his pace and offer us great advice. We are on the wellness plan and feel its worth it for our situation. We never feel like they try to upsell us (although we are on the plan so a lot is covered) and I am confident with their training and expertise. We will not take our dog anywhere else! I also love how they always call us a day after our appointment to check up on our dog. Even if it is a formality, I do appreciate it.

Nothing but good experiences here. The vet techs express genuine interest in you and your pet. Scheduling is easy. If youre looking for best bang for your buck, the monthly plan is cheaper than every other vet weve looked at, especially for a puppy needing routine vaccinations. If possible, ask for Dr. Terrell. She is very professional and never tries to sell you product that you dont need.

We had a 2:30 Apt today when we got there they told us it was for next Wednesday when home and check the card they gave us with the time and date it was for today! Thanks for the wasting my day off!!
