It is clear that most of these reviews were written by Shiloh Veterinary themselves. In all of my years taking care of pups, mutts or full bread, I have never seen a more unprofessional staff with such a low grade of ethical behavior. Not all pet owners may have the means to: keep vaccines updated, properly trim nails, and we certainly do not all agree with what extent we administer some preventative care (poisons) that rid our dogs of parasites. When I bring my K9s in for care, that is what I expect: CARE. I do not care for judgement, caddyness, or lack of ethics when I pay for it, especially for sensitive cases like growths on animals who are "up there" in age, but that is what I received from Shiloh Veterinary Care in Kennesaw, GA. I am a biology student at KSU, and cannot understand how making your clients feel inadequate about the care of their animals (or other peoples animals). I brought in someones dog that needed some attention but the owner could not afford it, but because his care was not considered up-to-part with the staff, I was ridiculed behind closed doors where the staff thought I could not hear them. The thing that troubles me is, that it was not my dog, someone I knew did not have the means to get him treated. So I took it upon myslef to see that he got care. Im not unlimited in money, but I would have paid Shiloh Vet any amount of money to see that this pup got the medical attention he deserved. My choice to bring him to Shiloh Vet Clinic was a poor one and thank the Lord my friend did not bring Bruno in because I was mortified by the whispers that I heard from behind the door about the care for this animal. The tech co.plained to the vet and said "She doesnt even clip his nails, and there are gross growths all over him" then, their conversation was teduced to a whisper outside of the door about how terrible of a dog owner I was. Absolutly not the case. I just wanted him to be well. I did not expect the judgement, the lack of professionalism, or the blame for the state that the dog was in. After confronting both the veterinarian and the tech about hearing the unethical conversation about my care for Bruno in the hallway outside of our waiting room, I expected an apology (which I did not recieve). I just saw red faces of embarrassment and pin-holed pupils (which usually indicates the use of narcotics) staring back at me. The manager even chased me out to my car and begged me to point out the staff members who had been so ugly to me. It was the doctor and the vet tech. The ones we should trust, the ones we should confide in. So my advice to you is that no matter what condition your animal is in, and if it needs help, do not hesitate to bring them into a clinic, just not Shiloh.

Ive been a customer for years - thirteen to be exact - with all three of my dogs. Up until recently, Ive been willing to pay the extra money for the care received; and they are pretty pricey compared to other clinics. Why Ive chosen to leave after all these years is because of one person, Dr. Erica Chase. She is cold and uncaring. Three times Ive had to deal with her and all three times have been unpleasant. Shes rude and lacks bedside manner; treating animals as objects. She refused to treat my dog because it was at the end of her shift and the staff, mistakenly, scheduled the appointment as a "sick" visit. I was there for a complete checkup for my dog and expected vaccinations. She proceeded to argue with me about the nature of my visit - well versus sick. I put my foot down and demanded what I had came for; reluctantly, she proceeded with the exam stating that if I insisted on vaccinating, she would ask for a waiver because I was putting my dog at risk. This highly educated individual lost her demeanor and was very, very unprofessional. My dog was treated by her as a well visit and vaccinated, but I had to demand that of her. The office manager apologized for her behavior and I didnt have to sign a waiver of any sort. Long story short, I paid the normally, too high price for a checkup, but got crappy care from a bitchy, arrogant person. If you want better care at half the price, it shouldnt be that hard to find. Ive talked to many people in my area and they all go to various places paying much, much less for way, way nicer customer service. Lastly, the place has at least 5 or 6 cats wandering around the clinic in the lab and reception area, but they are insistent on you leashing your dog "for their own safety." Pretty careless of them to allow stray cats to wander about, in my opinion. Im a paying consumer who expects my small dog to be safe -- put the stray cats in a cage, get them off of the counter when Im checking out...Im the consumer and my dog is your patient! In short, this place used to be worth the extra, extra money, but not anymore; especially, not since Ms. Chase came on board. You can teach someone to be highly skilled, but customer service eludes even the brightest oft times.

We had 2 dogs pure breed , pekingeese ,Paris and Viper. They are legally imported in the USA from Europe. Paris was pregnant. Everything was fine. We were a happy family. Everything begun on April,10 when Paris was ready to give a birth. We visited an emergency office . The doctor told she is in a good condition and everything Is normal. On the other day April,11 we visited Shiloh vet hospital in Kennesaw 3725 Cherokee St,Kennesaw. They made an exam and radiography. They told us that there are 3 babies ,one of them is dead and they should make a surgery. We had 1000$ care credit but the surgery will cost at about 1500$.And we should pay everything now. (My husband a hardworking ,but I don’t work because i suffer from anxiety) ,so we couldn’t pay everything on the same day.We asked them to make a weekly or monthly payments. But they told me back Paris home and she will die, pay now and we will save her and the babies lives or sigh an owner release form. So my husband signed 3 owner release forms-for Paris and for two babies, because one of the babies is dead.I just hadn’t got any other choices . We are so shocked and we cant realize that we lost a family member forever. Had we done everything we could for Paris? I think we followed every medical and human protocol, but did the doctors in Shiloh vet hospital did the same? On the May,12 i visited the hospital just to ask is Paris alive and what a surprise the babies are 3 not 2 and Paris is in a good health .How it happens a dead baby is not dead. They even sent a picture of the babies to me So the hospital has got 4 dogs-Paris and 3 babies and 3 owner release forms. Our family is not whole anymore and will never be whole again.I felt a part of me had been clawed out and torn away. She was ma baby and I was her mom.She saw me through some very difficult time, she was a constant steady presence in my life. We even couldn’t gave her one last kiss and one last hug Our family is grieving. We live in emotional pain.
