The doctor himself is ok, but what is bad is the woman who is at the front desk. She seems to be rude and unprofessional. She is the same woman who answers phone calls. And every time she speaks over the phone her voice seems to be sleepy. She is rude. I stopped going there just to avoid having to deal with or get in contact with such a rude woman who seems to be not holding herself together doing her job at the front desk. This is a good heads up for the doctor to make necessary staff changes to keep seeing his patients. On top of this, I am reading that most patients complain about the doctor getting upset when asked questions which is a typical thing (in my opinion) from doctors from Africa. I have experienced this with another doctor who also have studied medicine in an African country and got board certified in the US,. but most of these doctors have personality issue when a patient who seems to have some medical knowledge starts asking the doctor. The doctor feels that his medical knowledge is being ridiculed when someone who is NOT a doctor asks.

This office is hilariously bad. Benjamin Hagan, MD. Great credentials and no social skills. He is incredibly arrogant and did not listen to a single word that I said. He rarely addressed questions that I asked. He certainly didnt review the chart from my previous visit and contradicted himself multiple times. He seems offended by patients who have medical knowledge and ask legit questions that he cant answer. He is requiring excessive blood work and visits (aka $$$) for very safe and even over the counter medications. He is impersonal and borderline rude. The two lab technicians Ive met were wonderful and a few of the receptionists were okay. But why is a receptionist calling me with blood work results? They cant answer my questions and didnt give ANY numbers or specifics. It is unfortunate that those of us with crappy insurance are subject to bad medicine and disrespect. Save yourself the irritation and probably your health.

The doctor accused me of not taking my prescription for high blood pressure, which is untrue (and rude). Then he cancelled my prescription over the holiday weekend and refused to refill it. I was told that the staff should have scheduled an appointment for me to address the current status of my blood pressure, but failed to do so. Yet, somehow, this is my problem. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board tomorrow as continuity of care here seems to be a joke.

This office is not fast, not friendly, and certainly not clean and inviting. Any one saying otherwise is a joke. Literally every chair in the waiting room was covered in stains. All of them. Dr. Hagan does not listen and tried to insist on off label, ineffective medicine over what I knew were better choices from my own research. I pity the fool who trusts this doctors judgement with their health and well being.

Dont know where to start but will try to summarize it in points; Dr. Hagan is - Very rude and lacks social skills - Lacks knowledge about vaccination frequency - Gets irritated if youre a medical professional and have a legit question - Doesnt answer your questions but tries to tell you youre doing something else wrong

They do not return phone calls and Dr.Hagan does not listen to any concerns. On top of this, they do not follow through with anything they say. Was told I would be called for a sleep study within the next two weeks and that was 3 months ago.

Fast, friendly, clean and inviting waiting area. I had an excellent experience with the nurses and Dr. Hagan. I will continue seeing him for years to come.
