This Counseling office is abhorrent. Dr. Ximena Prieto Hicks was terrible. She actually terminated our patient physician relationship. Why? Because I actually asked her to be on time. First appointment she was 25 minutes late, second appointment she was 35 minutes late and I was her first appointment. My third appointment I asked if she was running on time because I didnt want to wait and the receptionist acted like I had no right to ask that. Dr. Hicks came out 10 minutes late carrying a plate of food, talked to the girls in the office, finished nibbling on her food then turned to go back to her office and saw me and said "oh, are you here to see me." Unbelievable.... She also billed me for one hour of "treatment " when she only saw me for 5 minutes to write a prescription. This place is so bad I cant believe there in business. I guess patients rights and needs come secondary to the doctors. Stay away at all costs.

Dr. Gilat. Dr. Theo and Diana are the best. Very helpful. Dr. Gilat is THOROUGH which is what got to the root of the problem. The two ladies at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Since Im addicted to music, their choice in music is impeccable. Not sure about all the negative reviews. You do get back what you put out into the atmosphere. I love this place and recommend it often. 06/27/17 : How things can change. The good Dr. Gilat dropped me because I couldnt afford the past (2) prescriptions he wrote for me. Both over $200. He doesnt feel "comfortable" prescribing anything else. So Ive been left to have withdrawals and no medication. What kind of real physician feels "comfortable" with that? Im not sure. But Im officially a former patient.

Absolute waste of time and money. Theres a reason they are accepting new patients, as i imagine most people dont return. Psychiatrist could hardly speak english. In an attempt to address difficulties i am experiencing with ADHD, i saw the counselor before i could meet with a psychiatrist (as required here, because they know if they started you out with the psych, that would be every patients first and last appointment). A week and some days later i met with "Dr" prido-hicks. it was the most incoherrent and dysfunctional conversation ive ever had. She needs counseling. Tried to prescribe me wellbutrin (a niccotine cessation/depression medication) for adhd. Shes insane

Ive never met a more incompetent doctor as Prieto-Hicks. I came here in hopes of finding a good psychiatrist at home since my schools psychiatrist is limited. Instead I found someone that tries to over medicate and is flaky. She schedules appointments when shes not in her office and then the office has to call to reschedule. When she says shes going to do something she doesnt do it. Of all doctors I wouldve expected a mental health care physician to be more reliable. The only redeeming quality is the ladies at the front desk who are consistently kind. Whenever I call and they are too busy to answer they are very prompt to call back. Dont come here

Literally never return calls always change my appointments and theyre always always always late Ive been sitting here now for 45 minutes after my appointment was scheduled and my doctor just took another patient back. If Im not going to go back there until an hour after my set appointment set it an hour later I too have a job and life and loose money because of them never being on time. When youre late or dont show its 30$ but they can cancel and be late anytime theyd like. The secretary is also very rude and unhelpful.

This place is absolutely awful. Nothing about it is professional. Ive seen a doctor here for over 5 years and reaching him for anything typically takes several weeks of phone calls by me and/or my pharmacy. Appointment scheduling is appalling, office waits range anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, and often times the doctor will cancel at the last minute while youre sitting in the office waiting! Avoid this place at all costs. The front desk receptionists are rude and very unhelpful.

Every time I came in I had to wait a minimum of 25 mins. up to 45 mins. One time doctor didnt come in and they called me an hour before appointment. Doctor didnt seem to care if I was there or not, always doing paperwork and shuffling things around office. Rushed me out the door as soon as possible, gave me scripts and sent me on my way. Maybe took 10 mins. but charged for 45 min. session. I went for 6 months hoping they could get things under control they never did.

Dr DelMedico is a very gentle soul and spends the time necessary to support and help you. I have had depression for over 20 years and she has spent time getting to know me and uses a nutritional approach along with finding the right medication for me. Her nurse/assistant has been patient with me because I keep forgetting my appointment and need scripts on short notice. Seth Watterson

When scheduling a new appointment they require you leave personal information on an awswering machine. Then they never return your call. They give a 10 day turn around to return call but they still never call. Ten days really. Either your over booking or your understaffed. Very unprofessional either way.

Staff is soo nice! Dr gilat is amazing! His assistant Diane is very caring! These folks have been very very nice and quick to respond to my problems! Dr gilat is kind caring and knowledgeable! No complaints here. These folks are very nice. If you get the chance to have him as a Dr you are blessed.

The doctors are amazing, but trying to get the office staff to send your refills to the pharmacy before you run out is like pulling teeth, which is really dangerous with psychiatric medications

I tried to use my workplace EAP to schedule an appointment. They were of no help to me. They also never returned my call. When I went in the desk person was unhelpful.
