Im only writing such a long review due to the mind-blowing impression I have about Pulmonary & Sleep Consultants. I have seen Dr. Qadoom and his office staff now on three occasions. First, a standard referral consultation which, was nothing but pleasant. The staff, from the time of scheduling, was very professional, polite, kind, and diligent. I always expect some type of hiccup in billing, scheduling, or paperwork and was very pleasantly surprised to have NOTHING go wrong. I then participated in a sleep study right there at the office (with the same staff) rather than having to outsource it to a hospital. Sleep studies, from my experience, are typically pretty horrible experiences, however this was, again, very pleasant. The technician for the study was literally one of the nicest, most assiduous people I have ever met. The office manager, Tracy, is absolutely amazing and clearly runs a well-oiled, high performance machine. They had a clearly rehearsed methodology, making a very uncomfortable experience as comfortable as possible. A follow-up with Dr. Qadoom revealed that he was not at all what I would typically expect from such a highly qualified physician. Most importantly, he was attentive and willing to tolerate my ignorance and listen to my concerns, which he addressed methodically. I observed NONE of the condescending, off-putting, dismissive, skeptical, or cynical qualities typically exhibited by specialty physicians. I didnt personally feel that the sleep study went well and expected dismissive treatment or, at the least, to be treated with skepticism like the only option was that I MUST have gone through all of the hassle to get referred, pre-authorized, consulted, probed and assayed, then debriefed (all requiring hundreds of travel miles), just to scheme some type of prescription that could probably be illicitly attained with much less effort at substantially less cost. Dr. Qadoom has just enough arrogance to make you feel comfortable, more accurately stated, just enough confidence to make you feel assured. To be abundantly reiterative, I could not have been more impressed with a physician, nursing staff, or office staff! Oh yeah...I never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes, though I would contently wait in that room for days to see Dr. Qadoom.

First, I was a new patient on a referral. I live on the southeast side of town and getting to Westerville is difficult in rush-hour traffic. The morning of my apt. I sat in traffic for over an hour on 33 and called the office to let them know that I was not going to be able to make it. The girl who took my call said she lives on that side of town too and understood. We rescheduled. Second, I called the day of my second apt. and they told me that I was already canceled the prior day! I did NOT call and cancel! In fact I had to look up the phone number and it wasnt in my recent dialing history, so who canceled? Not I!!! Then she told me that I would be charged a $50 fee!!!! What kind of doctors office does this to new patients!! Life comes up and things get in the way. I understand doctors have policies, but for crying out loud! Do they not want new patients? Third, she told me that she is unable to schedule me anymore. I would not recommend this doctors office for anything. RUDE, INCONSIDERATE AND INCOMPETENT.

Dr. Qadoom is one of the MOST professional and caring Dr. I have gone to see here in Westerville/Columbus. I always feel that he takes his time and always listens. I so wish that he was a Gen. Pract. as I would love to have him as my "all the time" Dr. His staff is always nice when I call. They try to answer any questions I have. If they dont have an answer for me, they will talk to Dr. Qadoom and then get back to me in a very acceptable time frame. He has also referred me to other Doctors and he seems to find the ones that I will connect with. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Qadoom for any Pulmonary/Sleep issues! He is one of the best as far as I am concerned.
