I wish my experience would be better, but it is not. I came to Family Holistic Health 15 months ago to find an alternative solution to my minor but annoying skin problem. Dermatologists failed to diagnose it and only prescribe me medicated shampoos which controlled but never treated the problem. I was assured by the Family Holistic Practitioner that their remedies have no side effects. The remedy looks like little granules made of unknown substance and the active ingredients are not disclosed to the patients. After the first remedy I had minor improvement along with side effect, where the capillaries on my shin bone were spilling under the skin and covered my legs with the big red patches. The second remedy did not show any improvement, but the side effect went away. A year later, a third remedy was offered to me. One of the warnings they tell you, is that during the treatment, if a remedy “works”, an old symptom may arise. It does, and most likely it will be the worst one you ever had. I notified Dr. Cseak that an old and very scary symptom is showing up, but it was ignored. The symptom was developing and gradually getting worse over the course of three weeks covering my face and throat with the red itchy burning agitated patches. I had only a two day short improvement from all symptoms, and that’s about it. Dr. Cseak instructed me to take another doze of remedy, and then IT came back, the nightmare of my daily life I went through 4 years ago. My eyes swelled up and my face and neck were on fire! It acted as if a severe allergic reaction to something very bad. I had to go to the Emergency room for a Benadryl injection, but it never helped. As a matter of fact, none of the antihistamines ever helped, only Prednisone can put it down. It actually appears that I have an autoimmune problem, and a REMEDY TOTALLY TRIGGERED IT! The sad part is that when I came to Dr. Cseak’s office to show her my “beautiful” face, she could not say anything other than: “Sometimes I just cannot help some people”... SERIOUSLY? After 15 months of treatment, hundreds of dollars spent, 3 different remedies and warnings about a bad old symptom showing up, I was left with just these words??? I guess, that’s what I should start telling to my clients from now on if their problems are beyond my knowledge and expertise. I wish my experience would be a better one, but it is not.

Excellent physician! I cant say enough great things about Dr. Cseak, who has been our family doctor for over a decade. She is fiercely intelligent, but extremely down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and unpretentious. She has helped us on many occasions, successfully solving our health challenges. The earlier post does not resemble my experience at all, and seems to be written by someone who has issues more with the concept of homeopathy than with the doctor herself. Sometimes it can be difficult to assess the efficacy of a remedy if ones only frame of reference is allopathic medicine. But taking a homeopathic remedy can be like planting a seed: miraculous things occur underground before the seedling emerges in plain view. Likewise, it can take a while for the remedys benefit to be observed, but when you finally notice it, it has gotten to the root of the problem. Homeopathic remedies dont trigger autoimmune diseases. They work with the bodys own immune system, helping it heal itself. Prednisone does the opposite; It is an immunosuppressant, overriding your bodys immune system. You may get immediate results, but have you addressed the root of the problem, or have you pushed it deeper out of sight, to cause more serious problems later? One quick example I can point out was when we came to Dr. Cseak because of a wart my son had. He had it for several weeks, and when he took the remedy she gave him (one dose of white pellets), it painlessly disappeared in just a few days. Some people use topical medicine on warts, but the warts sometimes return. Dr. Cseak pointed out that the problem was with my sons constitution. Thus, her solution eliminated the problem permanently. It strengthened his immune system to fight it off naturally! We are lucky to have such a gifted healer in our area. She takes her time to listen, gets a full grasp of the case, and demonstrates a keen sense of what the underlying issue might be, before expertly prescribing a remedy. (And the active ingredient is never withheld; it is always written directly on the package.) I would highly recommend her for any medical concern you may have.

My experience as a patient at Family Holistic Health has always been nothing but positive. I appreciate the time they give to listen and care for my needs. I feel I am treated like they care about me as a person rather than just a number. The homeopathic approach was at first very different but it has taught me to assume more responsibility for my health and to see myself as healing rather than diseased. It is the most caring doctors office I have ever been to.
