Very Poor ... I was 5 minutes late to the appointment, but that does not excuse Dr. Toroks lack of professionalism and knowledge. I have had a small foot rash for 5 years. It started small but never itched. I tried treating it on my own with the over the counter stuff. It kept getting a little worse over the years. I went to the Urgent Care and got prednisone which seemed to be working. The spots got smaller. My script ran out after 2 weeks and unfortunately I could not cover it with my insurance. Finally got good insurance and scheduled a appointment with Dr. Torok. A couple people had recommended her but said she could be tough. I show up 5 minutes late, but got in quick. The nurse asked me a ton of questions. I told her everything. Dr. Torok arrives and takes a 5 second look at my feet and says there is nothing she can do. She says I must get old man compression socks and wear them the rest of my life. I said Im only 34 and I cant even wear sandals. She says she knows of no cure. I ask if it is a blood problem or what about prednisone. She says its not a blood problem even though she never suggests to analyse my blood. I ask about why the prednisone worked some before? She tells me that "it wouldt work". My own eyes saw it working before on the existing spots! She gives me the diagnosis to look up online and tells me to get compression socks. B*tch I am a single 34 year old man that has feet that look like hell and I want meds! Im not wearing some damn old man socks. I get home and look up the diagnosis. It was the equivalent to the "common cold" in dermotology. This all cost me $90 and I didnt even get the old man socks.

Trillium Creek is a lovely million dollar facility, you will spend between 30 minutes to an hour & half in the waiting area before you are called inside. During that time, you can watch continuous reruns of FOX8 appearances by Dr. Torok. When you are called inside, the medical assistants will review your history and ask questions off their computer screens, if your response does not fit into one of the check boxes on their screen you may get an extra large smile or a well rehearsed "all right!". After a few more minutes you are seen by Dr. Torok, no doubt she is sharp and knows her stuff. She can diagnose things quickly and let her assistant know what you need. You may get to see her for 2 or more minutes, depending on your condition. On your way out you will be asked to schedule your next appointment, as is typical with doctor office visits. I felt the entire process was well scripted to maximize the return on their investment in the facility and the amount of time patients spent in the waiting room was inconsequential to them. Typically, nurses & medical assistants pay attention when a patient is describing his or her condition. I found the medical staff at Dr. Torok to be overly focused on their computers and less connected to what the patient was saying. The practice is housed in an expensive facility and spends top dollar on marketing itself, unfortunately they have to recover their costs that from somewhere, that would be you.

I went to Dr Torok for two reasons. First of all I waited 20 minutes after my scheduled time before I was even seen. When she came in there were 3 students with her. I felt like she was very rushed and didnt actually listen to what I had to say. I had a rash for over 6 months that my Dr had given me a cream for that had cleared it up in a week. I offered her to look at pictures Ive taken when it really bad but instead if look she made a generic diagnoses. She then proceeded to prescribe me a medicine that later my insurance denied bevause it was a $1000 cream!! My second problem was I had a lump in my armpit that has goes away and comes back. She diagnosed me but her office doesnt do the procedure to remove it. She recommended me to a Dr who could do the surgery which was fine until I call the Dr and they say they dont do that surgery either!!! I call their office back and inform them the person THEY referred me to doesnt do the surgery. I received a call back with a name and number of a different dr. Once again when I called them they couldnt do the surgery either !!! I still dont understand how its possible to be that incompetent ! It was a HUGE waste of time and money!!!

I would NEVER EVER recommend Dr. Torok to anyone!! First I had to wait FOUR weeks to even get an appointment with her, once there, I waitied about 25 min, and then another 30 min once in room. Finally Dr. Torok came in...for literally TWO MINUTES. She had the bedside manner of a cow. She was ABRUPT, RUDE, and apparently didnt think I was worth the time (TWO FREAKING MINUTES!) She didnt let me explain anything to her, just began poking and prodding my skin, recommended some $60 lotion (9 freaking ounces) and laser hair removal, and that was it. Fast forward, I used the lotion like she told me and yes started laser treatments....and instead of getting better it made everything 10 times WORSE! Her suggestion??? She put me on a antibiotic (bc hey lets not admit how wrong you were and dont know what the frack youre talking about!) and told me to take bleach baths!!! What the frack!!!!! She is a bubble headed idiot and a complete waste of time, she nor her staff really care about your concerns, but rather how they can benefit from the profit off of you.

A few years back, I visited Dr. Leonard Torok to get the non-surgical body shaping procedure. At the time, the staff were very nice and accommodating. However, the procedure itself was horrible on my hips and some of the skin became necrotic eating away a dollar size hole in my right hip. I would NEVER recommend it unless you have done extensive research on the risks. I ended up needing to visit an actual surgeon to get a wound debridement and now have extensive scar tissue built up on my right hip. Although Trillium Creek refunded my money, I had to use my own insurance for the surgical outpatient procedure and was left to pick up the pieces. If I want cosmetic surgery to fix the lopsidedness in my hips and scar tissue build up its on my dime still. I would caution anyone coming to Trillium to do their homework and patronize a place that is going to treat you well (especially given the costs)!

Dr. Torok has been seeing people in my family for close to 26 years now. she is an amazingly talented woman who has helped many and is one of the few people willing to try something other than a pill to solve your problems. Nurses in her office, such as Francine, want to throw an antibiotic or heavy duty medication at you immediately. After being seen by Dr. Torok, my brothers were prescibed topical solutions that helped their acne. On their next visit they saw Francine and both were put on acutane without hesitation. That was 5 years ago and they both, although they took the meds as directed and did the necessary steps, still have acne and a weakened immune system. Watch out for the Nurses and insist on Dr. Helen Torok.
