I highly recommend Dr. Stephen Pyles, Marty Potrawski, Le Mowry and the entire staff at the Pain Treatment Center in Ocala. FL. They are the very best! I am 61 years old and have had several neck and back surgeries since my early 20’s. Over the last 30 years I have been in chronic pain that limited everything in my life. In recent years I developed neuropathy in my feet too. After trying pills, creams and prayer for all my pain, I felt depressed and out of options. I thought I would suffer through chronic pain for the rest of my life. Dr. Pyles initially treated me with injections and nerve blocks. Then he suggested another option, Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS). Dr. Pyles, Marty Potrawski, and Le Mowry, the rep from Boston Scientific, took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. After reviewing all of the info about the Precision Spectra by Boston Scientific (BS), I did a trial. It was so successful that within a few weeks I had the implant for my lower back to feet. He told me I should receive 50% pain relief but it could be more. Two months later I had a 2nd implant for my shoulders to middle back. I am now 100% PAIN FREE!! My wife calls it a miracle and I agree. Dr. Pyles and his staff gave me my quality of life back and I will be forever grateful.

Dr. Pyle and his staff has worked a miracle on me! I injured my back about 9 years ago and had a lumbar fission done. Then I had 2 spine cord stimulators in a 3 year time period. The last pain management doctor I was with said there was nothing else they could do, and as of 10/2016, I had been with them for over 6 years. I went to Dr. Pyle in November 2016 and the 1st thing Marty did was schedule me a new CT scan with dye and get me off of the Oxycodone! A few weeks later Dr. Pyle found the main problem and did a facet injection! For the 1st time in almost 9 years I was almost completely pain free! On January 9th, 2017, Dr. Pyle burnt the nerve ending in the facet joint and now I am about 70% pain free! Were working on the other 30% and I truly believe that Dr. Pyle and his staff will have me pain free in the near future! Highly recommend Dr. Pyle! I only wish I was referred to him 9 years ago!!!

I have had lower back pain forover 40 years. I have tried every possible treatment with no long-term relief. I was referred to Dr. Pyles by the pain doctor near my home. I received in Dr. Pyles practice. I first met with the Nurse Practitioner, Marty. He was very professional, caring and knowledgable. Dr. Pyles gave me the first hope I have had in many years. He implanted the electrodes for the trial of the neurostimulator and monitored me over the four days of the trial. He also was caring, knowledgeable and very professional. I am now waiting for the psychological evaluation (required by insurance) and to learn how soon I can have the permanent implantation of the neurostimulator. I was fortunate enough to have COMPLETE pain relief during the trial. Since my back pain returned after the trial electrodes were removed, I am anxiously awaiting my final surgery! Nancy M.

Worse year of my life, after being treated for 2 years for stage 4 lung cancer which had spread to my bones I was referred to Dr Pyles to manage my pain. Filthy office, rude receptionists and a Dr. who has a God complex. Dr Pyles should not be running a pain management office with his lack of compassion and supperior attitude. Good luck to anyone who has to see him to manage pain because they all treat you like garbage. I understand there is a stigma with pain clinics but for the Dr. and receptionists to treat you that way is uncalled for. Wake up, Dr. Pyles and staff because you are providing a service and getting paid for it. Start treating people better.

This is for my husband Gary Callis. Thirty-three years ago I was in a construction accident. Since then I have had three back surgeries and was still in pain. The next twenty years I was receiving injections every six weeks to relieve the pain. Moved to Florida continued receiving injections at another doctor. Heard about Dr. Pyles made appointment (best thing I ever did). He mentioned the spinal cord stimulator. I had the trial period for three days and what a difference (NO PAIN). Very rude girls behind the desk. You will NOT be seen if you bring children or if you do NOT bring all your medication bottles with you. They scheduled an appointment for me but THEY put in the their system wrong so its MY fault. Will NOT be going there. DIDNT even get to see the dr.
