Worst experience time after time with a doctors office in my entire life. Office staff is not friendly and blames the patient for everything... I initially had to wait over a month before my first appointment, with debilitating pain. When I showed up for my first appointment they informed me it had been cancelled due to none verification of my appointment time, turns out they had transposed two numbers of my phone number. They wouldnt fit me in and rescheduled me for another month out. After finally seeing the doctor she was very cold, hurried and didnt seem interested in what I had to say, she was more concerned about burying here face in the computer. I was ordered to have an MRI and afterwards I never received a phone call to go over my results, after three weeks of waiting I called them and they said I had to schedule yet another appointment to obtain my results...again I couldnt get in until another month out. Upon arriving to my results appointment they wanted me to pay a $60 copay office visit fee which I refused since I had already paid for an office visit and a very expensive MRI and was just there for results. Instead I requested my records and left. I will never go back or refer anyone to this office. Ive been in healthcare for over 10yrs and a patient multiple times and this was absolutely the worst, not to mention longest, experience of my life.

I am so upset about the way my daughter and I were treated in this office. The nurses were nice, but the doctor himself was completely rude, unprofessional and needs to learn how to talk to a patient that is stressed out/worried. The doctor told my daughter that she was a hypochondriac and faking all of her symptoms even though I have witnessed my daughter fainting!! He even told me I needed to stop hovering over my 18 year old daughter who is tired, stressed out and not feeling well! What upsets me even MORE is that the dr wanted to give my daughter seizure meds without even doing much testing but an EEG and blood work from her previous visit at an E.R. YET he said "there is nothing wrong" with her. I DO NOT recommend anyone to visit this office.

I am a journalist and based on my recent experiences, I agree that Neurology Specialists and Dr. Duan are a disgrace to the medical profession. In my opinion, based on my experience, I think they should be stripped of their license. There is simply no excuse for the disrespectful way they treat patients. I am filing a formal complaint with the American Medical Association and Florida Medical Association.

Worst experience ever had in doctors office. 92 year old moms appointment drove all the way from Oakbrook nursing home to fortmyers beach. She was very very tired. People were walking out mad because they had appointments and the receptionist very rude to them and us I said this dont look good our first appointment people mad. Surely they want counsel ours guess what they did.

Shocked to hear the ratings for Doctor Duan. I had a very pleasant experience with her and her staff. You have to go in knowing your symptoms and medicines/surgeries because there is rapid fire questions but shes like a mini computer taking it all in and tabulating. I dont care about bedside manner, just fix me and I had 100% confidence in her ability to do that.

Hasty. Very descriptive, but answered somewhat cut-short. Seemed impatient. Ive noticed that they did not try to cause any hassle, during my visit, It appears that they were just trying to keep up, with their scheduling.

Worst doctor experience in fort myers, never return calls, no bedside manner. Staff and dr are rude, long waits for appointments. Will not return. Perscriptions not filled in a timely manner.
