Great vet for pet AND owner! I am extremely happy to say Dr. Kao has been, is and will be my dogs doctor. I had a 17 year old until this last weekend and I still have my 13 year old dog. I tried three other vets over the years and they were always to rough with the dogs or simply didnt care enough. I had bad experiences resulting in infections and worse and then I found Dr. Kao and his staff. My older dog was abused before we got her and was terrified of the vet. Every other vet always had to knock her out to examine her but Dr. Kao did not like the idea of doing that so he worked with her and let her get to know him enough that he was able to treat her by just throwing a blanket over her head and having a nurse hold her steady so she couldnt bite! My baby girl lived a long life and I thank Doc for that. If you feel like me that your vet has to care about your animal as well as its owner and you need to trust your vet then I promise Dr. Kao is the doctor for you. And he will not over charge you either!

1) I brought my cat in from out of town to get treated after not getting the proper care at an overnight clinic - Dr Kao met me after midnight, and opened up his clinic to get working on my cat. Who else would do that?? 2) He was able to diagnose that the cat was anemic, when two other vets failed to do so. 3) He went back multiple times during off hours to look after my cat and the others there. 4) He charged a fraction of the rate the other two vets charged - he also knocked a ton off the bill. I am forever grateful for the urgency of his care. He even took pictures with his cellphone of my cat and sent them to me while my cat was there, knowing I was out of town. Again, who goes to that length of service?? No one else has ever done that sort of thing for me. Thanks, Dr. Kao.

LOUD smoker

This vet is horrible. Not recommend to ANYONE. I took my puppy here for a parvo test the vet didnt recommend it because he "thought" she didnt have it. Instead he talked me into paying for her vaccines and deworming. I took her to West Toledo clinic (most recommended vet) two days later. They tested Her for parvo and it came back positive. Im not completely sure why he would give a sick puppy vaccines and deworming but all that did was make my puppy sicker.. When I tried to call and talk to the vet he wasnt there(really?) never again this vet wants money not care for your pet. Its really ridiculous. I will never be going here again. This vet shouldnt be a vet!!!

I moved to adrian michigan, my dog needed his shots updated and i needed his shot records. I called the oregon animal hospital for the records and they said they would send them ( very rude may i add) then proceeded not to send them. I called thd next day for them to tell me no one with the last name Dunbar has gone there and there is no dog named titan that goes thru them and hung up. They told me my dogs name when i called the first time but the next day they have nothing. Thats 550 dollars i paid that i am now getting redone because they have no record. Oh did i mention of thats my fathers majn vet but they have no one by that name

Dr kao is awesome very compassionate about animals. I took my 15 yr old kitty to him and he did all that he could to keep her alive, he didnt want to put her to sleep. Every other vet said she was old and just went by her age, he was the only one who listened to me and could see that she was very much alive and went off other things besides just her age number. I love this guy and his Amazing staff who are very personable respectful and considerate :-)

I dont care for this place. I drive 25 minutes to see another vet. This place is less then 5 minutes away. Staff seems sluggish and disorganized, very little interaction with my dog. Looong wait time once you arrive. They seem to fall behind easily. My new vet looks just as busy and they all come play and pet my dog. They fuss over who gets play with him first but they are on their game.
