Heartbreaking is the first word that normally comes to mind...my fella and I were in the tail end of our dream home build when we had to make a quick in between move from our apartment into a month long stay in corporate housing, as deadlines and leases and house closing did not align. Much to our dismay, our temporary arrangement was not cat friendly and our hands were tied, so boarding was our best option. South Suburban was our nearest and best choice. I entrusted the staff with my sweet kitty Bob.... It was a long stay and I had no end date to tell them. I came into the situation in shambles with crazy tears shed, and the entire staff must have witnessed and/or heard our story and the entirety were on board to accommodate us every step of the way every single day. I was in and out twice a day everyday, and everyday the staff knew me as Bobs mom and treated he and I like part of the family. I was worried theyd think I was crazy or get tired of me being in the way, but they went above and beyond the call of duty. They even sent pics of him finally laying and sleeping in his bed. Everyday as I visited they would give me reports and even had little stories of a shenanigan that he may have pulled. As happy as I was for the day to arrive to finally be reunited, the moment was bittersweet... I felt a part would be missing...the incredible kindness this pet family had shown me and mine is of the highest regard. Five stars across the board. Wonderful crew!!!!

My family has been going to this vet for years. I just adopted my dog last year and have been taking her here since. All the staff and doctors are extremely nice and knowledgeable. Super clean facility and they can get you in for an appointment quick. They also send you e-mails that include yearly checkup reminders along with your pet’s tests results. Would recommend to anybody who really cares for their pet’s health and wellness!

Went for a second option. Dr. Van Husan and her assistant were so wonderful! My Maine Coon can be difficult! They gave her space to feel comfortable. Explaining what was going in detail. The diagnosis spot on, with medicaton my cat was feeling better in an hour! Thank you for your caring professionalism. Needless to say I have a new vet.

Best vets around! Through the years we have taken our dogs to many places and have never found the same quality care we have found at South Suburban. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing service and for doctors who will care for your pet like its one of their own!

Suburban Animal Hospital sold us unneeded medications and highly inflated prices and refuses to return them even when unopened. This is unacceptable and we will be finding a new vet. Beware and check prices before going to this vet.

Dr. HENDERSON is such a great vet! She takes care of your pet like it was her own. She goes the extra mile to take care of them. The gals are all very nice also.

Dr. Theresa cranny is a wonderful vet. She had to remove my cats tail in surgery. My cat has recovered and we could not be happier. Price was reasonable.
