Ive been putting this off a long time. Its been very hard for me. This place ruined my vision and I am forever cursed. I knew after the surgery something had gone wrong when lights were extremely distorted. I was in tremendous pain for 24 hours. My vision was mangled. I told them every day of followup that something was wrong and they reassured me it was normal. I see extreme rod effects coming out of lights. Their solution was always just to wait. Wait a week, a month, a year. Finally I got a second and third opinion. Both found what the problem was, and if LVI had listened to me it would have been fixed. Glasses can not fix what I have. Because I waited the problem is embedded in my eye and light is distorted in my vision forever. Ive had two followup surgeries trying to fix their problem at other places costing me thousands of dollars. Once this place touches your vision, insurance WILL NOT cover anything done to correct or diagnose eye issues. I beg of you do not make the mistake I did and go to this place. I mean it sincerely when I say getting LASIK here was the worst decision Ive ever made in my life. If this review saves one other persons vision at least some good can come of it.

I had wanted to get LASIKS since I first heard of it. I was always told I was not a candidate because my right eye was horrible. Recently seen an add with these folks that they had 0% financing for 2 years. Figured it was worth a shot to try again. I qualified for PRK, not LASIKS. End result is the same, the procedure is a bit different though. With PRK, the recovery time ("normal vision") is considerably longer then traditional LASIKS. Up to 3 months. I was not aware of this until after the procedure. It would not have changed my decision, however, it would have been nice to know up front. Am I happy with not having to worry about glasses? Yes. Am I happy about not having to worry about contacts? Yes. Am I happy with my vision today? Very much so, and I still have about a month to go before its to be fully healed. If you live an active lifestyle where contacts and/or glasses get in the way, get this procedure done. Are there risks? Of course. As with ANY thing you do on the planet. These folks are forward about those risks. They tell you it could happen. They tell you it has happened. They will give you the stats.

I am very pleased with my time at the Lasik Vision Institute. The staff was amazing about making sure I understood everything before the procedure and took excellent care of me after the procedure. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 am and I was on my way home after having surgery by 11:30 am. I could not ask for anything more. They have given me the opportunity that I have longed for since I was 5 years old. I can see without glasses or contacts. Great job! I recommend them wholeheartedly.

LASIK Vision Institute is a facility I recommend to everyone I come in contact with. The customer service there is amazing and the procedure was quick. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to see right after having the surgery. The manager Kim is amazing, Kayla is always super friendly when she calls to remind me about my appointment and knows exactly who I am when I walk through the door. Dr. Mader (spell check), is such a pleasure to be around. The entire LASIK staff is always so happy!

I just went to my post-op appointment and I am already seeing 20-20 Vision the doctor already says that its looking great and my vision will actually even get better! The actual procedure was so quick and simple that I was impressed. All of the employees were very easy to talk to and had answers to all of my questions on the spot. The price was a lot more reasonable than Lasik plus down the street so that was a great bonus also. I would definitely and have recommended friends already

If you plan on paying for your annual eye exam with a credit/debit card you may want to reconsider. Its been over 2 weeks in counting since the receptionist double charged my account for $99. The following day after my exam I went on vacation a lil light changed. At this time Im very frustrated, because Im still waiting for the receptionist to call me back about my refund.. Im assuming my unexpected visit to the office will ensure an onsite solution!

They got one star, because there was no option for zero. They were far from upfront with me about how long vision would come back, until AFTER the procedure was complete. Now they could care less if I can see properly DO NOT use them for any eye procedure. They first said that a 5 to 7 day period to see, they then told me it could be 3 months before I could see properly. Horrible customer service too

Manager offered me Discount that I mentioned. 0%for 2 years which is nice. Procedure easy! Worth it! Youll spend less doing this than glasses/contacts. However, I am still waiting on my referral money for months and months(5)! They said 6-8 weeks! Staff is friendly.
