This Place Is Horrible. No One Seems To Be Able To Give You An Up Front Answer Its Always I Dont Know Or Im Not Sure. The First Time I Came I Had A Very Rude Tall Blonde Resident/Intern Perform My Exam. I Decided Not To Let That Interfere With My Decision To Come Back A Second Time Because Almost Everyone Was Nice. Well I Came Back For A Second Visit And I Regret Not Leaving The First Time. Everything About My Appointment Was Unpleasant. The Dr Seemed To Have An Attitude Simply Because I Had A Question About My Prescription Stating That He Had Done This For 31 Years. It All Went Down Hill From There. The Front Desk Girl Gave Me The Wrong Information On My Copay Even After I Repeatedly Asked Her Over And Over Again If She Was Sure She Was Giving Me The Right Information. Her Manager Candice Insisted That It Was A Misinterpretation Inferring That I Had Made Up What The Front Girl Said Because She Had Been Working There For 3 Years And She Obviously Couldnt Have Made A Mistake. I Looked Up Their Reviews On Yelp And Theyre All Bad Ratings. They Need To Re-train Their Whole Billing Staff Because No One Knows What The Hell Theyre Doing. If You Want To Get Ripped Off And Leave With A Bad Taste In Your Mouth Then I Highly Recommend This Office.

We have been going to Masengales for 3 yrs. And this last visit will be our last. First of all I had an appointment in January and after checking my son out of school made my way to the appointment where I was asked about our insurance ,usually this is done BEFORE you arrive for your appointment After getting attitude from the receptionist who was too busy buying scentsy from a saleswoman), told me we werent covered and sent us home. Only to get home and get on the phone with insurance to find out in fact we were covered so had to inturn reschedule the appointment. Went back and was told they didnt have the glasses in his size so they would have to order them. Wait 2 weeks call back to see if they were in they said they could find no record of it and that they would get to the root of the problem and call us back. Its been 2 weeks and no return phone call. We will be taking our business to someone who would like our business without all the attitude!

Absolutely amazing business. The staff is professional and friendly. The doctor is very thorough and genuinely cares for your eye health. I had a corneal ulcer from my son poking his thumb into my eye to wake me up. I went to Massangale after a couple days of some pretty extreme pain. Thank God I did! They were very quick to get me in. I ended up with one of the worst ulcers he had ever seen and he sent me to the hospital and a specialist immediately. The staff made special calls and called in favors so I could be seen at the hospital and get medication immediately. I then had to do follow ups every two to three days until my eye was healthy again at massengale eyecare. They called me to make sure I remembered to come in, they we always happy to see me, and very organized. It was an all around wonderful experience, I felt very cared about.

My experience here at Massengale was horrible. I went in and got my eyes examined picked out the frames (the frames were just plain black with no designs nothing fancy), which was the only thing that was successful. Told me that it would take up to 5-7 days to get the frames which I was okay about...5-7 has passed still no call...so I called and they told me the frames didnt come in yet and told me it would take another 2 weeks. This has been going on for 2 MONTHS....each time I call, they would make these excuses up and offered me another pair of frames..like I want the ones I ordered and pay for..one day I called and they asked if I wanted the ones for show...you know..the one people try on...I just accepted it because I really needed my glasses for school but I WILL be switch to a different eye care doctor.

A professional and pleasant atmosphere permeates Dr. Massengales clinic. My experiences there will certainly keep me returning and encouraging others to use him as a doctor. Candace and Ryan were exceptionally helpful, as was the doctor, of course. I have been in contacts for five years for distance. Dr. Massengale & his staff put me in my same brand of contact but they are bifocals & I can see better than EVER! I am so grateful to everyone who works there, just cant remember everyones name. I would encourage anyone who needs good eye sight to go. I cant say enough good things about the care given by everyone from the receptionist to the doctor. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would give them more stars because Jason and Adam were more than helpful. They took the time to listen, answer the many questions I had, and fill me in with much need helpful tips. Now the optical place well i hate to say but they older lady is not so customer service friendly and it seems that she is irritated by her having to help us. Even to have my glasses adjusted it seem to be a bother. So i told her ill just go and do it my self. And that also includes the older man who works with her. I wont be getting my glasses from here no longer.

This is the second year Ive used Massengale Eye Care and I cant imagine going anywhere else. The Dr is very knowledgeable and caring and my favorite person there is Candice! Shes not only helpful but seems to genuinely care that I get the best contacts, solution, etc. She always reminds me to send in for my contact lenses rebate and makes sure I have the right paperwork to submit. They also text me a reminder of my appointments which makes it very convenient. LOVE this place!

The entire staff here, is phenomenal! Jacob, the para-optometric (?), is great at his job, efficient, and keeps the mood light, yet professional. Dr. Curt Massengale, sets the standard for professionalism, and how an optometrist should treat, speak to, and interact with his patients. (Plus, theyre open on Saturdays) Been with them since 2009, and Ill never waste time on another eye doctor! Bravo, Massengale Eye Care! I rated them 5 Star, only because 6 wasnt an option!

I highly recommend this Eye Care Place - Candice and Jason are awesome - they both go above and beyond ! They took time to make sure everything was correct and that I was satisfied before leaving. I called another eye care clinic in Moore, was put on hold just to schedule an appointment and after holding for more than 5 minutes I hung up and found this one - so happy I did!

Love this place! Dr.s are great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Moved up to Edmond recently and tried an optometry office closer to where we live and it was horrible. Called Massengale and they were willing to work with me and fix the other offices screw-up. I will gladly drive across town for the best eye care service in the OKC area the next time I need it.
