If I would have had the opportunity to be seen perhaps this rating would had been different. I made an appointment to ensure quick service. I arrived a little early to fill out the paper work to help in keeping the doctor in schedule. I then sat in the waiting room for the next hour and a half. After witnessing other who came in after me get right in I asked why the long wait. The receptionist told me they had accepted several walk-ins right before my appointment and that they would be seen first. I asked her how much longer and she told me the doctor would see me next. So when I watched the next patient go in who had been in the waiting room only for a few minutes I cancelled my appointment and left. After I got over being angry, I called the manager to ensure my insurance would not be fraudulently charged and to inform him of my long wait. He called me back after visiting with the receptionist who told him that I came to my appointment early, and took so long filling out the two pages of paper work that they had to accept other walk-in patients. I am an educated woman and have no problems filling out paper work. I am cognitive and have full capacity of my mind. HOW INSULTING!!!! Perhaps the optometrist is good, however, you do have to get past the front desk. Now that I know integrity of the employees, Im grateful to not have them as my provider.

I have been going there for seven years. On my last visit, I had to fill out an updated form which was a waste of my time because they already had all the correct information. The doctor asked if I had seen them before. The receptionist were unaware with what my insurance covered which should have been checked before I showed up sinced they knew I was coming for over 6 months. The receptionist runs you through different eye tests but never tells you what they are for or how they went. Nor do you ever find out. Since the receptionist did NOT know how much my insurance would cover, she was going to check for me and call me back so I could order my contacts over the phone that day. But as I was leaving the mall after shopping the receptionist was outside. I guess making things happen quickly doesnt apply to her. And she NEVER did call me back that day. So, I guess I will call her and tell her to just order the contacts and while she is at it- DELETE MY ACCOUNT because I deserve better service. I have NEVER been satified with this office and just stayed there to avoid paperwork/time to switch.

Ive been a several-year customer of Kessler eyecare, and so has my wife and two daughters. Although Ive never had to wait very long when I do a "walk in" visit, most times we make an appointment, show up 10 minutes early to update our information, and were seen promptly. This week, my daughter and I all had appointments and were all done within an hour, and I even had a contact lens fitting. The staff has always been friendly and professional and theyre good about answering all our questions, and weve never had a billing problem with them. And I like the fact that I can get "fitted" for contacts, but can get my prescription and purchase my contacts on-line for significant cost savings, because my insurance doesnt pick up my lens cost.
