I told my dentist repeatedly that I was having pain in a back tooth, she continued to schedule appointments to fix other things that I did not ask for; I was in there about twice a week for 3 months and I was not listened to. Theres a cap on my insurance, and they burned through it without saying anything about it until it was too late for them to do the work. Now Im in so much pain that Im struggling to care for my 2 year old, Im missing work, and I dont know if Ill be able to attend my sisters wedding this weekend, because its very possible that Ill be curled up in a ball in pain instead. They completely left me in the lurch, I have no options for treatment now because I have to wait until October for my insurance to start over, and I cant afford to pay out of pocket for another dentist to fix this. I will not be going back there in October, thats for sure. The only reason I have them 2 stars is because I liked 2 of the receptionists, and my hygienist (who is apparently transferring somewhere else). Other than that I really dont have a lot of positive things to say at this point.

If I could give them a zero I would. The manager is horrible and should be fired! Untrained staff, they were radiating me for an hour trying to get the x-rays right and couldnt anyways. The hygienist was rolling her eyes at the doctors request for more x-rays and said that never happened before. She was very very rough while cleaning my teeth, so I asked her if it is going to affect my retainer. She said no. Well minutes later she unglued it and neither her nor the manager took responsibility for it and want me to pay hundreds of dollars to have that one spot glued. Next time have someone familiar with braces or retainers when cleaning the teeth of people who wear them! Iam considering suing them. The doctor was good and she did a good job fixing my cavity I think.

Ive had very good experiences here with doctors and techs. Dr Myron the Best. A couple in office are off-ish for West Coast standards. Im from a small Midwest town but I judge competence not gushy friendly. This is a fine dental office and team, deserving a much higher score. Have cleaning appointment in June. Rank again then. Systemic sarcoidosis, my chronic disabling illness, affects gums and teeth, among other body systems. Clackamas Dental has no oral sarcoidosis specialists but have worked hard to understand my illness and not aggravate it, if in remission. They are conscientious professionals.

I actually had a really great experience here. Being new to kaiser, and not having had a dentist appointment cleaning in over 5 years I was beyond nervous. The staff was kind, I was seen in a reasonable amount of time and the dental hygienist was so caring and understood my concerns with pain and discomfort. It was great, I was surprised to read so many negative reviews here.

If I could give them a zero I would. Already have pretty low expectations from kaiser but this is by far the worst dental office Ive ever been too. Word of advise: if you cant treat all your patients dont take in more. Defer them to other offices.
