Dr. Mathers is a very careful, caring and compassionate doctor. During my eye exam he performed an examination of my peripheral vision. He noted that I appeared to not have lower peripheral vision. I am nearly 50 years old, so it was shocking that he found this now (clearly explains why I trip all the time). He gave me two additional tests to confirm his finding and he examined me to make sure that the eye itself and my optical nerves were okay. Although he concluded that in all likelihood this was congenital, he recommended I go for an MRI to confirm his diagnosis. I could only get an MRI appointment the following week. His office called to get me an appointment that afternoon. when he received the results, Dr. Mathers personally tried to reach me a number of times to follow up with the results, on multiple days (I was travelling). I greatly appreciated how he treated me the way he or his family would want to be treated. I could not recommend him more.

Dr, Mathers is an excellent Ophthalmologist who I have been using for the last 3 years. Very knowledgeable about various eye conditions and is more than willing to answer any questions that I might have. He is an excellent doctor with social skills and the medical knowledge that is valuable when getting your eyes checked. Highly recommend.
