It always amazes me that the reviews you see mostly come from people who do not explain to the public all the facts. Advanced Eyecare of Washington accepts many vision plans. These vision plans have their own labs. If you have a vision plan, your eyewear must be fabricated there. There is very little control that the office has in regard to how quickly your eyewear is done. Orders are sent out usually on the same day. Vision plan orders can take up to 14 days and more to come in. There is no rush ordering. When we call to ask on their progress, we are told that they are in processsing. Remember, they are not our labs. They are "your insurances lab". Private labs tend to work quicker. It is our experience that negative reviews (and there are very few) usually come from indivduals who do not understand the process and want something that is not within our ability to provide. Again it amazes me that the few negative reviews come from patients that have the same insurance provider. Advanced Eyecare of Washington treats all patients with respect. We feel that all individuals who seek service here are like family. Every service is given priority. Our phones ring constantly all day long. We call all our patients back the same day.

Dr Collazo is absolutely fantastic. Her office is a great environment. Her and her staff are incredibly friendly. I appreciated that Dr Collazo took extra time to explain things that my previous eye doctors never explained. She also took extra time to explain care instructions for my contact lenses that I had never heard before. Even when I was fitted for contacts as a kid I was never told explicit care instructions and I very much appreciated her explaining the importance of taking better care of my eyes. I highly recommend Dr Collazo for all of your eye needs.

The secretary is very rude, i have been waiting for my glasses for over a month now and whenever i call she refuses to give me any information regarding my glasses. The secretary points the finger on everyone else saying its not her job to keep track of everyones glasses, but refuses to give me the name or let me talk to the person that handles the shipping and handling of the glasses. Very unprofessional and will never go back.
