I highly recommend Dr. Kitei, he has been my eye doctor for basically my whole life! I couldn’t be happier with his care and I’ve recommended him to so many people who feel the same. Over the years I have moved a few times for short-term opportunities so I have had the occasional eye appointment elsewhere which always make me appreciate Dr. Kitei’s care even more immensely. Other eye physicians have never listened as closely to my concerns and given me such considerate care as Dr. Kitei. I first saw Dr. Kitei for an eye movement disorder where my eyes wouldn’t move together completely, it affected my binocular vision and my eyes sometimes appeared lazy (Duane Syndrome). Dr. Kitei performed surgery on my eye to correct it permanently and I’ve never had a related problem ever since! He has cared for my eyes through other various problems over the past 20 years; he’s helped me with a bad sty, eye infections, contacts and glasses. I just had an eye infection recently but was too far away so I visited a doctor elsewhere for treatment and was given eye drops for pink eye. The infection was still persisting when I returned to town so I went to Bethlehem Eye Associates where I was given proper treatment for an optical staph infection. My whole family goes to Bethlehem Eye Associates for all eye care. His services were especially helpful for my uncle who suffered through mini-strokes and became temporarily visually impaired. Not only is Dr. Kitei a truly helpful and caring physician but honestly he is the most pleasant doctor I think I’ve ever been around. I always leave Dr. Kitei’s office feeling worry-free and so deeply grateful that I am in the best hands possible!

Dr. Kitei is outstanding! He and his entire staff were very professional and polite. After examining our newborn, he went well beyond our expectations by texting a specialist at Chop and getting us an apt a few hours later. As if that werent impressive enough, he personally called to follow up later in the afternoon... Not his staff... HIM. We are truly impressed and would recommend him to anyone!!

I took my son to Dr Kitei 10 years ago when he flunked his kindergarten eye exam at ABW Peds. Dr Kitei patched the eye and prescribed glasses for 2 years, from ages 5-7. As of today my son has 20/20 vision no glasses! It was a miracle! Thank you Dr Kitei, you are the best!

Staff could not be friendlier or more professional! Appointments are on time (Unheard of!) and Dr Kitei diagnosed & treated my problem quickly and I was back to work in 2 days. Thanks for the excellent care!

I called because I had a referral. Lady over the phone was extremely rude. Its strange that a ST. LUKES associate does not take the same insurance as the hospital.
