I am ashamed to say I am a former employee of Upper Bucks Ortho. I can assure you, those of you that are patients, arent the only ones suffering and being treated poorly by this facility. I worked here for over a year before I was forced to leave. Dr. Steven Casey was upset the day I was working with him and I made a very simple and common mistake. Dr. Casey decided to not only yell at me, cuss at me, but to also grab me by my arm and abuse me. I left work that day in tears and went straight to the police. The other person I was working with turned her head as to not get involved and they flat out lied to the police about what had occurred. Apparently because I did not have any injury from the incident nothing could be done. This is not the first, and I am sure it wont be the last, time that Dr. Steven Casey has laid his hands or talked down to those that work with him. He is an inconsiderate doctor and couldnt care less about his patients. (Remember, I worked here for a fairly long time, Ive heard the things hes said about his patients). He should have his license revoked for the way he treats others in his office. And I hope that others effected by Dr. Casey will speak up and get him out of there. He is absolutely heartless and should be ashamed of himself for his actions. I did file a police report, but have beliefs that Dr. Casey bribed the police with some sort of money to get out of any charges as the police never contacted me, returned phone calls, or allowed me to see my police report for my lawyer. Months have passed since this incident and it has since been forgotten. My sister seriously injured herself the beginning of this month and I knew I could get her an appointment here ASAP. So I called and scheduled and appointment and said hello to everyone that I used to enjoy working with. We got her appointment, drove to get her reports and X-rays from bethlehem, only to show up for the appointment with Judy Francis and Michele from HR standing outside the building informing my sister that I would not be going in with her and that she would have to go without me. My sister is on crutches, unable to carry anything and needs me to be there since I am her transportation for any follow ups she may have needed. My sister did not feel comfortable going in somewhere shes never been and did not go in. Upper Bucks Orthopaedics needs to be more professional in their mannerisms. They were aware that I was making the appointment and that I was a former employee. Instead of making me drive there to refuse to care for my sister they should have expressed their concerns over the phone. Judy and Michele, you should be embarrassed by the way you acted in front of a patient that needed care.

Just relocated from Connecticut and I have been searching for a foot and ankle surgeon in the area for months. I looked up Dr. Caseys bio and was quite impressed - Temple graduate, fellowship at Harvard, Director of Orthopedics at Camp Lejune Naval Hospital. Having had ankle problems since high school, I called to make an appointment and had no problem being scheduled. I went to my appointment and was very impressed with the office. Dr. Casey was fantastic! He explained my problem, treatment options, possible outcomes, etc., answered all my questions. I found him to be very friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail. Without hesitation, I scheduled to have surgery performed by him in the near future and am looking forward to being able to walk with no pain again.

For two years the people at upper bucks bent over backwards to help me leading up to my surgery. The surgery took 50 minutes. I could get out of bed and walk putting little weight on the walker hours later. Two weeks later I did level ten on a lifecycle. Three weeks and I was able to go in the gym for a couple hours. Now I can spend hours in the gym, do hours of exercising at home in the same day and go up and down 10 flights of stairs a day. From the people in his office to grand view hospital and physical therapy and bux mont cardiology every person they sent me to was fantastic. I guess it is over the top to call him a surgical God, but he is as close as they come, but he is too humble to care. I can only say any person who went anywhere else needs their head examined.

made an appointment a few wks ago and waited instead of going to an Urgent care. . my appointment is today and i just got a call. The person stated that i have not met my $500 deductible and that my office visit would be four hundred and some plus 20% (since i have an 80/20) i said ive been to their office multiple times this year-they already charged me over $300 for a visit in the beginning of the yr. i called my insurance and they confirmed that i met my deductible- i called back and spoke to 2 ppl but they acted like they did not care- and continued to state that i would owe four hundred some plus. Rothman Institute does not do business this way!

I have done my exercise for today. Apparently, receptionists at Upper Bucks ortho dont care about patients. I had to crutch from the farthest parking spot ever, in the rain. I get here no greeting, no hi, just backs turned looking at facebook. Had to say HELLO! Then they say you have to go back and get your cd. So i look at the girl like she is crazy. And asked for a wheelchair, she got it with attitude. I wheeled out myself. No help frikken up hill. Came back with help from a nice guy. There is two of them! Where is the need to help people?

This office participates in fraudelant business practices by charging extra fees. According to my insurance company they are not permitted to charge any fees except the copay. When I questioned them, they said it is my responsibility and they willtake me to collections if I do not pay.

Dr. Bungardner has changed my quality of life! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing orthopedic care. I was fitted with the new Global Knee Braces and I feel zero pain and more stability than I have had in 10+yrs. I dont even need any pain medication for my OA any longer

Rude, Rude, and Rude. After 2 visits, I still have not seen a doctor. Only the assistants. They told me nothing wrong with my shoulder. Went to a different doctor and they found the problem. Torn Rotator cuff. Both doctors looked at the same MRI.

This place didnt want to actually set the bone on a severe break. They wanted it to stay mis-aligned. After a second opinion elsewhere, the bone was set and is healing well. The Drs last name who didnt want to set the bone begins with an H.

Very rushed through my visit. I felt like Dr cope had better things to do then see me during my visit. He even pulled up the wrong records and started talking about tests Ive never had done. Go elsewhere for the care you need! Beware!!
