Horrible staff. I walk in the clinic to ask for an appointment after seriously coughing for few days. The two pairs of eyes behind the reception greeted me with cold stare. After I ask for an appointment and presented the pre-filled form. They told me I need referral from my primary physician with my insurance. I told them that I already confirmed with my insurance company that they do cover the urgent care and I only need to pay the co-pay. One of the woman just insist that I need a referral for urgent care or $100! I left there totally confused and called my insurance again and the answer was: No problem with any walk-in clinic and they are included in the plan. I never have any problem like this in any emergency room. It surprised me how rude the staff are and imagine someone with a urgent need walk into that door being ask for a referral and turned away?! In my case, my insurance cover it and I was never asked for a referral in any other place! I went there after a friend told me they are fast and It is very close to my house. But after the encounter with the staff who think that the patient are at their mercy and easily turned a patient away because they do not have the proper knowledge of how to file a claim with insurance, I will just rather wait for my appointment with my family physician even though the driving takes longer. At least they know that the last thing you need when you are sick is the cold stare of the receptionist who just sit there and wait for you to beg for an appointment so they can turn you away.

In all the years Ive used this facility, the place has gone down hill greatly, although the doctor staff was always fantastic, the front desk staff sucked. I came in today to get checked and the woman at the front desk was a complete b#!*h! She grabbed my I.d and insurance card out of my noticeably swollen hand and demanded me to take a seat with the packet to fill out, after I told her I wasnt able to move my hand and needed assistance filling it out(she rejected). Then I give her the sloppy written packet and she proceeds to yell at me after I told her I couldnt fill out my insurance info because SHE had my card! When I gave her the packet stating I didnt know the exact address of the primary card holder(my father) and I had no way to get it(I dont speak to him and havent for years) she argued and yelled at me that it was needed to file the claim, which is FALSE, they ONLY need the name and DOB!! Ive been down that road before and know whats needed because of my situation! I politely asked for my card and I.d back and rushed out. Ive never been so turned off by a doctors office, especially an urgent care facility, and I will NOT be returning!

Only reasons Im giving this place the second star is because I eventually walked out with a diagnosis and a prescription and because the staff werent rude or anything. That being said, I waited for just about a full hour after the nurse took my info for the doctor to come in. Only to then have a conversation/examination that lasted a max of 45 seconds (not complaining about that part, it was refreshingly efficient after waiting so long - just that I feel they couldve just gotten it over with much sooner). Looking over the printout of my visit summary, a lot of the information on there is incorrect (including "reason for visit" and that Im a former smoker, even though Ive never smoked). Also the TV in the lobby was set to this Christian/televangelist channel, which didnt help make matters any more pleasant.

I took an employee from out of town and was very disappointed with the service. Facility closes at 8:00pm. We arrived at 7:48 to find the door locked. We knocked, and the woman who came to the door opened it a crack and said they dont accept patients past 7:45. When we explained my employees condition, she said she would check with the doctor. While she was checking with the doctor we were left outside in a thunderstorm. She returned to tell us that the doctor would not agree to see us, because if he kept accepting patients after 7:45 they could be there all night. We were referred to another Urgent Care facility in Hellertown that she told us was open until 10:00. It was actually only open until 9:00, but we made it there on time and received wonderful treatment.

I too had a negative experience like the man above, The two young women at the desk were imcompent and disrespectful. They should know that anyone coming in there is sick and not feeling well and should be cared about, not mocked. The Doctor and PA are both very professional, but the young girls at the desk are very ignorant. She tried to tell me I had a $100 co-pay. Just like the other reviewer said. These are high school graduates who need to take classes on how to treat people, especially people who do not feel well. I walked out and did not get care eventhough in the past I had positive experinces. Those girls would not even be allowed to work in McDonalds with the attitude they had. They need to be dismissed.

Had to wait for over an half hour when I was the only patient. Then I had to wait for an x-ray tech to come in. When she arrived, because I can here the staff, the tech has been off on maternity leave so I sat in the room in pain and listen to the staff discuss the techs baby. So I had to sit withe the tech in the office another half hour before they all got caught up on office news. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Worst experience ever....stay away.....had wrong meds in system. Had arrogant self serving Dr. With attitude after testing me for HIV without any knowledge of the test. YES this was becauae I complained of sweating and weight gain. .......and ao much more......I diagnosed with an arm fracture a few years back that turned out to be a tear in a tendon. The staff is incompetent and rude!.....if you choose this office I wish you luck!!

poor service and my credit card was hacked only place i used 2 months prior called for office manager 3 times she was never in never returned my call they had all info to hack my account adrdess cell number email cell number had to be someone [n the office had my card and the 3 digit code on the back and the rest of the info they had ss# email address cell number you would think this would be important and somebody would call back

This place is a joke! Refuse to see my son without a referral. You are an URGENT CARE, you dont need a referral. Offered to pay cash, wont accept that. What has this country come to? Our health care system is a freaking joke. I had to take my son to the ER for something totally not necessary. I thought that was why everyone needed health insurance, so people would stop going to the ERs for non emergancys.

This place has gone completely downhill in the past few years. Now it is nearly impossible to see an actual doctor - they seemed to be staffed almost entirely with physicians assistants. Not once but TWICE I have been given the wrong diagnosis/incorrect prescription. Total and utter waste of time and money. Never again.
