Unfortunately went here for YEARS. Good: - Pretty building. - Jen, the hygienist. Bad: - Dr. Fordham will check your teeth WITHOUT GLOVES ON. - Will claim you need products and services that you do not actually need. - You will wait at least 30 minutes past your appointment time. The baffling story of how they tried to trick me into getting THREE fillings I did not need: During my appointment in July 2014, I was told they were going to “watch a tooth” that may need a filling. Whatever. Next appointment was scheduled 6 months later. I got a call a couple weeks before asking to reschedule my appointment. No big deal. New appointment is booked. But then, I got a notification that my ORIGINAL appointment was coming up. I called them to say I thought they had changed it. They said both appointments were still on, they had to make the second one because “Dr. Fordham wouldn’t have enough time to see me.” That’s not what they said when they rescheduled me. But I went along with it. I go to my originally scheduled appointment. Lady says, “I see you’re coming back next week for your filling.” Hold up, what filling? They were just WATCHING a tooth. The other dentist (not Fordham) comes in to check it out and see if I really need the filling. She comes to the conclusion: Yes, I need the filling, and that they should probably do TWO more teeth as well… You have GOT to be kidding me. I cancelled that appointment and never went back. I’ve gotten so many fillings done at this place, I’m convinced that I didn’t need more then half of them. If I really needed that first filling done, why the hell would they have me wait 6 months to get it? $$$ I moved away and have been with a new dentist for 2 years now. And guess what? I never got those three fillings done. Because I DIDN’T NEED THEM. Please don’t torture yourself, your kids or your wallet by going here. Also... DR. FORDHAM DOESN’T WEAR GLOVES.

Went to Chester Springs Family Dentistry for the first time last week. I have been gong to the same dentist in my hometoiwn for >10 years and felt I was getting OK service and treatment. I am in the process of starting orthodontic work and wanted a second opinion about an area of pain that I was told was nothing, Didnt want to put braces over top of a cavity. So last week the office staff took xrays and I had a thorough exam. I had no clue the dentist was supposed to do an oral cancer screening, also never knew there was a cover for over your thyroid when xrays were taken, well I do now. Dr Jennifer Bush was not only competent and professional but friendly at the same time, turns out I had a new cavity under an old silver filling and a new cavity on a tooth nearby-explains the discomfort. I went back today and once again was greeted by the friendly staff-everyone from the front desk, to the assistant Victoria, to Stacy the EFDA and the dentist Dr Bush were nothing but professional and friendly. The most amazing part was it was completely painless. They offer Nitrous but I did not need it, the topical anesthtic was so good I never felt the needle. Overall the best experience I have ever had in a dental office. I would highly recommend this office! Good service and quality care is well worth a little drive!

I have been going to Chester County Family Dentistry for about 8 years and they have been nothing short of amazing! The staff are nice and friendly and actually care about you, to the point of remembering things about you that they wouldnt remember if they werent so thoughtful and caring. They are also very gentle when you are getting any type of work done, I have had a few root canals and many crowns done, as my teeth are not the greatest, and I have nothing but rave reviews for how they preform simple or even major work. My sister is a dental assistant at another Dentist office, but I am very loyal to the amazing staff at Chester County Family Dentistry. I chipped a front tooth one day when I was working and they were amazing at getting me in there as quick as possible and to this day I get compliments on that crown, it is beautiful and is one of the factors that makes me keep coming back not to mention the excellent service, friendly staff, care and concern from the actual Doctors themselves and how they are willing to help you out and work with you on any need you might have. This place is second to none, I tell my friends to go here all the time, and you should too!

They do not take your insurance! The place was very nice looking (maybe I should say expensive looking) and the people seemed nice, but I feel that they took advantage of me. When I first made my appointment I asked them,"Do you take Delta Dental?" Their answer should have been, "No," but the receptionist said some weird thing like, "We are non-participatory," then proceeded to ask for my insurance information. I even had my husband call them because I couldnt figure out what it meant and they also asked him for all his Delta Dental information. While at the appointment they talked me into getting laughing gas, saying I seemed so nervous, and told me I would need three shots for my filling. Then I got the bill!! It was over $1000! Guess what non-participatory means? It means they dont take your insurance! No wonder they have such an expensive office! Now I need a new dentist, and I think a lawyer.

My dental experiences at this practice have always been stellar! I have been going to Chester Springs Family Dentistry for over 10 years. The staff is phenomenal and have always gone above and beyond my expectations to make myself and my family feel comfortable, including my two small children which is not an easy job. Dr. Fordham & Dr. Bush are genuine people who truly care about your health, not to mention they are perfectionists and always want what is best for you in the long-term. They have even replaced some of my fillings for free because they didnt hold up like they should have! I wouldnt believe everything you read in some of these reviews, it sounds to me that these people just didnt want to pay for quality dentistry. Check this place out, I promise you wont be disappointed with the care you receive.

Dont go here unless you want to go broke getting routine dental care.... they consider everyone "out of network" and charge excessive fees for their services so you will end up spending a lot out of pocket. I was seen here 3 times- once for tooth pain, once for a cleaning and exam and once for 2 fillings. I spent $921 out of pocket for this. They have a lot of fancy equipment such as a camera that takes pictures of your teeth so "you can see what they see"...maybe this is how they justify their outrageous charges....Such a scam. Needless to say I will be finding a new dentist that charges lower fees and accepts insurance.
