Dr Ellis is a very great eye doctor. The receptionist not so nice and dramatic eye rolls with my questions. Great customer service- ? Moving onto other services: *A previous patients make up on the apparatus of where one looks through was disgusting & unsanitary. *My month old glasses had a little crack from where the screw goes through the lens-clearly a defect in assembly. I was told this was not a warranty item. *Asked for prescription for me and for my daughter to have goggles made. My script no problem, however, my daughter apparently doesnt have a prescription. She just needed "enhancement for reading". Hmmmmm, when we were to pick out glasses after her exam, it was for nearsightedness ( for driving etc). $500.00+ later. Conflict in what was told to us and she didnt need any glasses. Granted she picked a designer pair of frames. Well, there is her fashion statement and that will be the LAST cash sale, no insurance, they see from our family of four. Buyer be ware. The prescription is your property. Go see the knowledgeable doctor but then take your prescription elsewhere...that is IF you have a legit prescription.

While I would have nothing but good things to say about the demeanor and attitude of everyone in the office, the same cannot be said for the knowledge and skills of the doctor. I have a very high prescription. I am incredibly nearsighted and have an astigmatism. I was told here that my eyes were bad, but they would be able to find contacts that worked for me. I didnt question it. I left the area for school, only to find out from another optometrist that the contacts I was prescribed were not close to my actual prescription at all and I was not seeing as well as I should have been for the last several years. I now have customized contacts for my eyes and am able to see much better. I highly recommend going to someone who is more knowledgeable and will take more time and effort into your eye care.

Each time I visit with Dr. Ellis and his staff I am very warmly greeted and I am seen within a very reasonable amount of time. Dr. Ellis is very professional, personable and efficient. He listens well and takes his time with my examination and care. His staff are equally efficient and friendly and helpful! I would not entrust the care of my eyes to any other doctor! He has my complete trust and confidence. It is a pleasure getting to know him and his staff and I look forward to my visits and exams with him each year!

Dr. Ellis is a wonderful doctor. He is there for you in an emergency and stays on schedule for regular appointments. Great office staff. Beautiful office space with plenty of parking.
