Worst PT experience ever. Dont go there if you have spine problems...made me much worse. PT and PT student didnt even care when I started crying. Could barely walk when I left treatment today. They didnt care at all. Canceled all future appointments. 11/15/16 Chris just left me a message. He saw my review. He is sorry that I was "a little sore" after he put me into that position with a "pillow under my belly". What! He raised the top of the plinth 30 degrees and instructed me to place my hips at the bend. (my head was almost off the table above the face cut out in the table) The doctors instructions from Rothman Institute specifically said NOT to go beyond where I felt pain. I could only bend backwards to at most 5 degrees the day before at the initial eval. (In order to get me out of the position on the table, the PT student had to force me into even further extension my lifting up the top of the table with me on it so that he could unlock the table and lower me slowly to neutral) The doctor also specifically wrote on the prescription that they try to determine where my pain was coming from. They did little testing on my hips or measurements or visual inspection to see if my hips/SI joint were off and possibly causing the severe pain. My pain level the day after the evaluation was higher than when I arrived the previous day. I told him that the press ups made my pain worse and that I couldnt go as high each time because of the pain. He instructed me to start out the session by doing them again. I felt worse and then he had me get into a hyper-extended position after having a car accident as well as a history of multiple lumbar fusions. I could barely walk out of the clinic. No one took my vitals. I had trouble walking to my car, but no one cared. I had to wait at least 45 minutes before I could sit up and drive home. This place is the worst PT experience I have ever had in my life. Chris was supposed to call my doctor at Rothman, which was his only concern when I was leaving in excruciating pain. I cant wait to hear what the doctor says when I tell him what they made me do there. Chris also said that it would take 3 to 5 sessions to evaluate me and make a plan. Why didnt they call my previous PT? I told them that I had had success with her and that I couldnt go there anymore because I moved. The PT student Mike mentioned "aggressive exercise" as his plan on the 2nd day. I had told them that I had a bad experience at Abington Hospital because they only wanted me to do exercise. The PT that worked was a manual therapist who got my pain under control first and then increased my exercises. In my opinion, this PT has a lot of credentials but no caring for patients. He only contacted me now because I wrote the review. He wants to explain himself according to his message. There were so many mistakes made in my care and he took no responsibility for any of it. His message made it sound like he had me lie on a table FLAT with a pillow under my hips....far from it! He forced me into a position that my body cant even go into actively. By the way, I rarely cry. I played multiple sports in college and have a high pain tolerance. This place is the absolute worst!

Great experience. My Orthopedist at Rothman prescribed physical therapy to treat hip pain brought on by tendonitis. My Ortho recommended ConshyPT for my treatment where I worked with Chris and made significant improvement, but still had lingering pain after a few weeks. Luckily for me, Chris suggested I seek additional testing which revealed a Femoral Acetabular Impingement and torn labrum which would require surgery. Having hip surgery at age 29 was quite scary, but I was reassured by the competent staff at ConshyPT who went above and beyond to get me back on my feet. I cant recommend these folks enough; they’re a talented group who treat you like family.

I cant say enough about how outstanding my experience was. I went to CPT for Post Concussive issues after a recommendation from my Doctor at Jefferson. It was an extremely challenging time, but it was absolutely the best decision I ever made. I had no idea I could seek physical therapy for PCS but they have a specialist on staff, Meghan Lass, who was truly invested in my treatment and gave me a really individualized plan. The staff really cares about your recovery and the support they offer makes a huge difference while you are trying to get better. I fully credit the experience for my recovery.

I recently worked with Chris, Jori and the exceptional team at CPT to address a very unusual shoulder problem I was experiencing. Nobody else could figure out what was wrong with me but the team at CPT got to the root of the problem and in no time I was back in the gym like it never happened. The treatment was really first class but what stood out for me was the incredibly friendly environment at the clinic. It really feels like one big family. I will go back there straightaway if and when I injure myself again!

I had an Orthopedic Surgeon tell me that surgery was the route I needed to take to alleviate my back pain...luckily before going down that road I was convinced to see Chris at CPT. Needless to say, I never had surgery and my back is doing great. Every once in awhile Ill feel a twinge and go right back to the exercises they taught me and get right back on track. Since then Ive also had them help me with my shoulder and knee..theyve really been a life saver. Highly recommend.
