I had shoulder surgery to repair a SLAP tear and rotator cuff tear in 2016 and came here on the recommendation of my surgeon. Shoulder surgery of your dominant arm/hand is no joke, and I spent 6 months in PT just getting range of motion and function back! Georgine and the entire staff were always friendly and understanding, even when I was frustrated with the pain and limitations I was experiencing. The manual PT and dry-needling brought the most relief on my worst days, and I still go in for dry-needling every couple months, now a year after surgery. I highly recommend these guys to everyone I come across whos seeking PT, not only for the expertise of the therapy staff, but also the kindness and caring of the front desk. Shoulder surgery was the most challenging physical limitation Ive ever faced, and yet Tannersville PT was the best therapy experience Ive had!

I dont know where this other person who left a negative review went, but the staff here are by the far the most friendly and most involved people in a physical therapy establishment I have ever met. They are always super friendly on the phone and when I show up. Ive witnessed other people walking in and they are always greeted by name and with a smile. During the therapy each patient has their own assigned staff member who bring you to each station and works with you while you use it. I have been to many different physical therapy settings and this one is miles beyond the others. Very personal treatment and Ive never felt better.

I have been going to Tannersville PT for 5 years. After trying numbers physical therapists to treat my migraines which failed, Tannersville PT was my success that changed my life. Their comprehensive approach, hands-on technique and ongoing analysis , cured my headaches form 4 a week to 1 a month on average . Life changing . I had 2 herniated discs treated with successs as well as other chronic issues. Georgine Todd is by far the most hands on, determined physical therapist with the most comprehensive skill set in the Poconos to treat all patients needs. Hours are convenient and the staff is great . I wouldnt go anywhere else !

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The person at the front desk is rude and will have you stand there while she ignores you. The therapists chat among themselves and ignore you. I clearly told them why I was there and what had helped my pain in the past. They ignored me and had me do exercises that did not help me at all. I finally went back to my doctor and got a new script to go to another place where they helped me immediately. I would not go back to Tannersville PT or recommend them to anyone.

My mom, Lois Silver Fiala had rotator cuff surgery. After 14 days, she needed to start PT and was very concerned about finding a good facility in the Poconos. She was only living there full time for a couple of months. In a very short time, her orthopedic surgeon in NYC was amazed to see how much range of motion she gained back in such a short time. She couldnt stop raving about Georgine Todd and her knowledge of anatomy and the many modalities she combined in her therapy sessions..

The staff all the way from the front desk to the PT area is amazing, friendly, and genuinely caring. I feel so taken care of when I come here. The physical therapists always explain whats happening or how each exercise or procedure will help you. They take you through your treatment and beyond. My experience has been amazing and I finally feel relieved that Im getting medical help from people that care about my condition and want to see me get better. Its been life-changing.
