Dr. Benedetto’s practice is an amazing place to visit. Truly, I’m honored to have this level of superior medical care. Many doctors and practices have been a part of my life but this is among the best – and by far my favorite – due to both the level of knowledge and care and the people who work there. I happen to see one of the two brothers, Dr. Ernest, but both docs are friendly, approachable, and greet patients warmly with their full attention, never rushing, or in any way dismissing patient concerns. No practice runs smoothly without hard-working support staff and the nurses and administrative staff are incredible. They know each patient and I sometimes wonder how even an occasional patient could be impolite to any one of them. They are real people, with real lives, and the simplest of cordial “hello’s” prompts their warm generosity in return. No individual - doctor or staff - is ever too busy for the patient and I actually like going to the doctor when I must, all because of this practice. I had to take my 96 year old mother one day and she is pretty scared of doctors in general. Dr. Benedetto was so kind with her – she commented that it wasn’t like any other medical experience she’d ever had because Dr. Benedetto actually cared about her, explained everything, and took time to make sure she was okay. In addition to the level of true human compassion, there is the level of education and knowledge. Medical techniques are not based on theory from 25 years ago. Both doctors study consistently and attend seminars and conferences, often being asked to present at these events themselves, based on the quality of, and respect for, their work. The proof is in the results and I can vouch for being extremely pleased with my results every, single visit! I have never felt so cared about by doctors and staff. Dr. Benedetto’s Dermatologic SurgiCenter has my highest recommendation for being a practice that sets the bar high - it would be a great service to medicine if all practices could follow this example of a well-run, outstanding and patient-focused practice.

Terrible customer service.Drexel Hill Branch. Gave one star for the phone being answered by a human, but did not expect someone rude. A woman answered the phone as if she did not want to be at work, when I told her what I called for she tries to get me of the phone by telling me there is nothing available for months on out, with an attitude as if I was disturbing her. I say ok, so she gets frustrated and says well what kind of insurance do you have, I tell her blue cross personal choice , she replied you just told me three different types your going to have to get your card and read it. I get the card and read it and it says exactly what I said the first time. She say well thats not what you said the first time, I told her Ill take my business elsewhere and hung up. The Doctor my be good but you have to get through the receptionist first, good luck because shes anger with terrible customer service skills.

Long waits to get an appointment and long wait to see the doc. Sometimes an hour and a half after appointment time.

I agree with the reviewer Roberta. Dr. Paul and his nurse Nora are wonderful. The front desk staff is not.
