On 12/03/14 I was seen by my now former dentist, Dr. Peter A Timian. My appointment was for 11AM but I had to sit in the waiting room for nearly an hour because they were backed-up with patients ahead of me. I arrived at my appointment complaining of pain from a cracked upper molar tooth that Dr. Timian failed to diagnose during my check-up a few weeks prior. I was told that my tooth could not be repaired that day and I would have to wait eight more days until it was repaired on 12/11/14. Instead Dr.Timian adjusted the crown below the cracked tooth since it was hitting on the cracked area and causing more pain. After adjusting the molar crown I had trouble closing my front teeth due to a 10 year old ill-fitting crown on my upper front tooth that I had complained about for several years and was told I would have to live with it or possibly lose the tooth under it. I trusted Dr. Timians opinion at the time and now I see that was a mistake. Then Dr.Timian said he was going to adjust the back of the upper front crown a little and take a miniscule amount off of one lower front natural tooth to make room for a natural bite. After a couple of minutes I realized that Dr.Timian was filing down all four of my lower front healthy natural teeth that I have always been happy with and I stopped him. I asked why he was doing that to my healthy teeth and then he proceeded to file down the upper front crown as he said he was going to do in the first place. Filing down my natural lower teeth was completely unnecessary since there is now enough room for them since the upper front crown was adjusted. Dr.Timian seemed like he was hurrying since he was backed-up into his lunch hour. He only seemed concerned with getting my bite "right" without taking into consideration how what he was doing might affect my speech and chewing and bottom lip support. I worked as an announcer for many years and I enunciated perfectly before Dr. Timian filed down my lower front teeth without my consent. I now have all of these dental issues for no other reason than Dr. Peter Timians inept negligent dental work. Since my appointment that day I have had trouble speaking and chewing properly. I also have sensitivity and aching that I never had in the healthy teeth that were filed down. I also have to concentrate or I bite my bottom lip when eating due to my bottom lip not being supported like it was by my natural teeth before they were filed down. When I floss and brush every day it is very obvious how substantially shorter the teeth are now. Also my lower canine teeth are now sticking up in the front so they poke the underside of the area below my lower lip due to the four teeth between them being filed down. I am very self-conscious now and do not feel confident when speaking. Dr. Timian refused to give me the name of his dental lab so possibly I could get a photo or copy of my bite impression that was taken for my molar crown 6 years prior. Dr. Timian also claims that he lost a panoramic x-ray from my file that would have also shown how my teeth were originally. Dr. Timian refused to help me restore my teeth back to how they were and he denied what he did to me without my consent. Dr. Timian also was dishonest to another dentist I went to see after this incident and told the other dentist he only "adjusted" one tooth slightly. Dr. Peter Timian is not only a dishonest unethical dentist but he is also a man of very low character. I had been his patient for nearly 15 years and he turned his back on me to cover himself. He puts on his nice guy act but when he makes a mistake his ego wont allow him to take responsibility. Instead he accuses the patient of having a psychosomatic reaction. I trusted this man with my dental health and he showed that he does not deserve to be trusted. I not only reported him to the PA Dental Licensing Board but I have also retained an attorney and I will be suing Dr. Timian for malpractice. Do yourself and your family a favor and do not allow Dr. Timian to treat you. He is a disgrace to the dental profession.

I first went to Dr. Timian over 20 years ago, after suffering through a sleepless night caused by an extremely painful toothache. I called the office that morning and got an appointment for that day. I was so miserable, I just wanted the tooth pulled. After examining the tooth in question, Dr. Timian told me he would pull it if I wanted him to, but he recommended taking antibiotics for a few days to get rid of the infection that was causing the pain, then come back and make a decision about having it pulled or getting a root canal and saving the tooth. I took his advice and when I was no longer in pain it was a lot easier to make an educated decision. He performed the root canal, put a post and crown on the tooth, and I was a happy patient. I have been going to him ever since then, and now that I am married my husband goes there too. I would recommend Dr. Timian to anyone needing dental care. He is always helpful and straightforward, and his staff is wonderful.

Quack dentist. Dr. Timian is a lying scumbag who performs dental procedures without his patients consent and causes nerve damage then denies what he did. He also refuses to tell his patients where he has their crowns made since its most likely a cheap lab in a foreign country probably China or Mexico. Do not trust this man. He has been reported to the dental boards and is under investigation for medical assault and malpractice.

Ive been seeing Dr. Timian for years for all of my checkups. The staff is always very friendly and everyone knows who I am. Not only is it easy to schedule appointments, but Ive never had to sit in the waiting room for long time before an appointment. Dr. Timian and the staff are helpful and kind. Ive never had a bad experience here!

I have had very good experiences with the Dr. for the last 4 years -- routine cleanings and fillings, etc. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the Dr. is the same way -- and importantly, their fees are much more reasonable than some other dentists in the area. Highly recommended!!!

I started going to Doctor Timian a few years ago now, after moving to this area. He is great, and so is his entire staff! They are always friendly, they have flexible office hours, I have been in as early as 7am, and they do a great job. Ive been happy every time.

Dr Timian seems to have forgotten what he learned in Dental college and does not seem to have proper skills. He showed poor quality in his work. He is also rude to his customers. I will never go back to him. I will not recommend him to any of my friends

I went to see Dr. Timian for a root canal after some friends had recommended him. I was very pleased with his work and pleasantly surprised by how little discomfort I experienced during the procedure. I have recommended him to others since then.
