My husband and I have been Dr. Lyttons patients for at least 10 years. Dr. Lytton has been seeing my mother for 5 years now. Throughout constant changes of insurance coverage and plan types, Dr. Lytton has remained an excellent, dedicated and reliable family physician for all sorts of health problems - from minor surgical procedures, seasonal flu and colds to serious chronic conditions . She is a superb diagnostician with a skill to navigate through symptoms and complaints in order to arrive at a plausible diagnosis. Most people do not understand that experienced family physicians are in danger of extinction and that doctors of the caliber of Dr. Lytton are not easy to find. My entire family is grateful to Dr. Lytton and her staff and we will continue seeking care from her practice.

First of all, I have to say that I am not a patient of Dr. Lytton, but I have worked as a nurse in Mainline Health for many years and have taken care of many of her patients. I was shocked to see someone give her a 1 star review and thought that I would chime in. The review is definitely not correct and I can assure you that Dr. Lytton, from everything I can tell by working with her patients and occasionally her, is an excellent doctor. I can assure you that I have no stake in this matter, as I no longer work there and she doesnt even know who I am. I just dont like people giving negative reviews based on false information.

Dr. Margaret Lytton is an extraordinary physician. She has caught several issues, that other doctors would have missed and has reassured us on several that were not, in fact issues. She caught a potentially life-saving problem on our son, and she is not in any way in the business for the money or to have an easy life. She is also absolutely 100% (or as close as anyone can be) up to date on the latest in medicine, which is a big deal as things do change quickly.

I have been going to Lower Merion Family Medicine for about 3 years. This is what medicine should be like. Dr Lytton is caring , listens, and knows how to treat patients. She is also the hardest working doctor on the Main Line. If you are looking for a family medicine practice this is the place for you and your family.

DO NOT go here. My parent could of died! This doctor gave her medicine that made her really sick and was bleeding. Turns out it had an ingredient that she allergic to and the doctor knows as it is on file as well.
