Pushed unnecessary dental work. I had gone to them for a few years and had no complaints until after one cleaning they informed me I had a cavity. I was in my early 30s, never had a cavity in my life, had no pain, no indication of anything amiss. When I questioned them, they said that while it wasnt a cavity per se one of my teeth had a deep recess that should be filled before it turns into a real cavity. I had never heard of such a thing, but I agreed, however I was suspicious from that point on. Six months later, new cleaning, new cavity. They strongly recommended I make an appointment for the new filling. I told them Id call them. Instead I found a new dentist and never went back to Carp. That was over three years ago. Ive had numerous x-rays and cleanings since then, but the cavity Carp Dental claimed I had seems to have mysteriously disappeared. Been cavity free ever since. I dont like the thought (real or perceived) of being used as a pawn to bill my insurance company for unnecessary dental work.

• Convenient location with access to both Forrest Ave and Airy St • Has its own parking lot for patients • Informative website for time, location, appointment, and online forms • Receptionists are always super friendly • Comfortable waiting area • Clean, new equipment || Its always been good experiences going to Carp Dental. Arrive on time for your appointment and there is almost no wait time. People are very nice and always take good care of you. I saw one bad review about unnecessary treatment, but I would leave the debate to the professionals. And you can always say no or consult another dentist if you dont feel comfortable about the treatment. But if you are looking for a place for general dental service like cleaning, X-ray or filling cavity, why not give it a try?

I cannot recommend Carp Dental highly enough. Everyone I dealt with was polite, friendly, compassionate, and just pleasant to be around. Zero judgement. No lectures. Friendly advice, but no feeling of being looked down on. They were very accommodating with getting me in on super last minute notice due to some serious pain I was in, and they managed to do the root canal on that visit. The building is clean and modern. Prices seemed quite reasonable from the little bit of internet shopping I did beforehand. Using my insurance was simple and straight forward with them. If youre looking for a dentist in the Norristown area, look no further! You will not be disappointed.

Best dentist ever! The staff is wonderful and welcomes me each time with smile! I absolutely love my dentist. I have been with him with for over 10 years and each visit is pain free. I recommend him to all my friends and family. Dr. Yu made me have a great smile and would not go anywhere else! Thank you Dr Yu for being the best dentist ever, never making anyone feel self conscious about their smile and having a huge heart! You are one of a kind and your assistant is awesome! Just wanna say being afraid of the dentist is a thing of the past. I went here today in fear of having a filling get done because of the last time I had one filled elsewhere and the pain it had caused me. Today I went in at 10:48 for a filling used no novacane and had zero pain at all. This was incredible to me. I spent 10 min in parking lot before I went in because I didnt wanna experience that pain in my tooth. Carp Dental really did an excellent job and did it in a quick, efficient manner. I appreciate them over there at carp dental and everyone should use them.

I would highly reccomend Carp Dental Associates. The office is the cleanest medical office Ive ever been to. With my insurance I could get cheaper dental work elsewhere; however, the people that work there are incredibly sincere, and helpful so it is well work the extra expense. Mary, one of the hygienists, is especially great. She makes a point to connect with her patients and remembers all the things we talked about 6 months prior. Very highly recommended!!

Talia is a great hygeinist and always puts me at ease. She remembers details of my dental care which means a lot. Or she takes really good notes which is even better! I met Dr G for the first time and he was very helpful with my concerns. I have had other dentists provide services as well and I have been very happy as a patient at Carp Dental.

I am a big chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. I travel from Philly to Norristown because at Carp Dental they are patient and kind. They make me laugh and reassure me that everything is fine. I would recommend Carp Dental to anyone. Especially other chickens like me. called in pain asking to be seen and was literally told they could forward my x-rays to another office so i can be seen there instead. their bed side manner was absolutely horrific, and i was appauld by the way i was treated. will definitely be spreading the word that this office is not there for you when youre really in need!

i went to get it fix my loose denture. Dr Lee did such a bad job of cementing the denture that it came out in 20 days for which I paid $150. When i went there to refit it they wanted to charge me again so I refused & came back & got it fixed with other dentist which is working fine.Professionally not a good dental practice.

By far the best facility Ive been in. I was greeted nicely and paperwork (on a tablet) was quick and easy. All the staff are very professional and personable. Dr. Carp was my dentist and worked with me and my insurance to find the best plan for ME. My cleaning was awesome, i was very impressed. Great place all around!

My experience was awesome! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The hygienist (Talia) was great, she was sweet and kind and did not judge me at all. Dr U has been my dentist for years but I havent seen him in a while so it feels so good to be back in his care. I would recommend this dentist to any and everyone!

I LOVE Carp Dental! All of the staff are very warm and welcoming. I get my cleanings done here every 6 months with Theresa and she is awsome. I also just finished up the Invisalign process with Doctor Goldwater and Jen and they are both the best! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone (and already have!)

I absolutely love this dentist. And thats saying something for me, who usually avoids the dentist ant any cost. These people are great to deal with, they always are up front about costs and are very good at doing procedures quick and painlessly! Like i said, I LOVE THIS DENTIST!!
