Dentist was well-aware that I had signigicant sensitivity to BOTH hot and cold 2 weeks after she put on the temporary crown. She NEEDED to inject novacane just to remove the temp crown I was in so much pain. She said, "I think you need a root canal". Then, she PERMANTLY attached (with non-removable adhedive) the zirconium PERMANANT crown over a tooth that needed root canal, and referred me to an endodontist for root canal. The endodontist wouldnt believe she was stupid enough to permanantly attach a permanent crown to a tooth NEEDING a root canal, and said, "You must be mistaken; let me call her because she probably used temporary cement. He valled her. She did permanantly cement the crown to a tooth needing root canal. The endodontist drilled a hole through a thousand dollar crown, flawlessly performed the root canal, and said, "I will fill the hole in the crown myself; do NOT go back to her. Find another dentist." Thats NOT ME TALKING; its the ENDODONTIST she referred me to. She NEVER should have used permanant cement crowning a tooth she knew had problems. BAD, BAD JUDGMENT!

At first the staff and dentist seemed fine, professional and decent cleaning. However then the Chestnut Hill Smiles told my wife she needed 4-7 cavities filled. We got a second opinion from a very reputable dentist who said my wife did not need any cavities filled, not one. The Chestnut Hill Smiles dentist argued with us over this and so we changed dentists immediately. Then Chestnut Hill Smiles tried to bill us directly for the cleanings even though insurance covered it. They made error after error processing our insurance and repeatedly blamed us for their errors and kept sending us bills. They were impossible to get on the phone and when I was able to reach them they were extremely unhelpful. They finally figured out how to bill our insurance after about a year and a half after many many phone calls emails and hours of our time trying to resolve their mistakes.

It was basically my first visit. Very pleasant one, Kristen the tech is sweet and as Dr Jain was on vacation, Dr Dan did my and my husbands annual check up and cleaned our teeth. He was so nice and gentle. This is my dentist now, we moved here some time ago and I finally found a great dentist. Thank you Ivanka and Pavel S.

I had a pleasant experience with the personnel at Chestnut Hill Smiles. They let me know what I needed to do for my teeth. Also, they made suggestions as to where I could get some financial help Once I pursue their suggestions, I will return to the for dental health procedures.
