Wow - needed to see a urologist quickly and was thrilled to get an appointment within the week (he must have agreed). So, I leave a message on the appropriate menu number for a referral - giving them my name and #, the docs name and #, the urgency of the situation and asking that the info be emailed to me. I did this two days in a row. The morning of the appointment I call and insist on the "0" button until i get a person. Since I dindt give them the docs fax number they couldnt send it. Apparently they cant call or email me that there is this little issue - and they are completely incapable of making a call to his office as well. This doctor does not care if I live or die and I mean that literally. She scolds, she dances around uncomfortably. She makes me take off my clothes so she can look at my skin and then when I inquire about one place in particular she "has no idea - I would have to show that to someone else" yet she didnt suggest it. whatever. She doesnt look me in the eye. She is rude. If I hadnt called and told the receptionist that I really needed them to get the fax number and take care of their business so I could keep my appointment, I would have wasted the doctors time, my time, had to wit perhaps weeks to see him again, and all because of simple failure to inform me that they needed a fax number. Thats too hard! Stay away from this cold, uncaring woman. Unless you like that kind of thing.

An excellent choice for your medical care. I have been a patient of Dr. Schiffmans for almost 4 years. I am one of those people who usually dreads having to visit the doctor, but I have always felt comfortable about visiting here. Anytime I have needed a referral, they were quick and efficient to fulfill the request. I like that the office is email/web integrated, so that I can contact my doctor at any time with questions. Dr. Chandra is leaving, but we owe him much gratitude. When my husband became very ill with an unknown virus, his knowledge and thoughtfulness pointed testing in the right direction, which showed my husbnads illness was rather rare. If it had not been treated promptly, it could have resulted in life long complications. So really, this office in my eyes, goes above and beyond. I hope they will always be around because finding such care and ease of making an appointment is so rare.

This practice has taken extraordinary care of my health needs for 26 years, starting with Dr Rich Baron and more recently with Dr. Dan Peterson. Dr. Fabens has also seen me over the years. They are all dedicated and very caring and smart doctors. The nurses and office staff are also great folks. They are a model practice- using electronic communications and record keeping - a state of the art scheduling practice that allows for same day appts when necessary. Sorry that I have to leave them after moving to Central PA. Considered staying with them but the insurance company wouldnt let that happen.

Ive been a patient since 2009. Ive had a mixed experience with this doctors office. They used to be really great then about 2013-2014 things started to drop off. Theyve had a lot of turn over in terms of new doctors coming and going. Also theyre receptionists are really hit or miss. There is one in particular that they hired about 2 years ago who is straight up rude and unfriendly. As far as patient care theyre good but theyre part of the Chestnut Hill health network which is the most expensive in the Philadelphia area for any type of procedure or major issue.

I like Greenhouse Internists. I saw Dr. Chandrasekaran while he was on the staff there - hes a wonderful PCP and Im sad to see him go. I can usually get an appointment within a few days for non-urgent matters and the same day or next day for more urgent care. Their hours are great - early morning appointments! The patient portal is a great way to communicate with staff, and to request refills or referrals. Very pleased with this great family/community practice in Mt. Airy.

They are like family.. Very kind professional and sensitive to my needs. I would recommend them to everyone. The only thing I dislike is that they never have appointments within 2 weeks. Guess its because they are so good. The wait is worth it if its not an emergency.
