Went there for contacts and new lenses for my eye glasses. . They are a little expensive ,but I am quite happy with my contacts even though they where $200.00 plus what ever the insurance paid for the visit. The eye doctor there did (in my laymans point of view) a thorough examination . I was told it would be a little over a week for my contacts to arrive because of my astigmatism. 2 WEEKS later I get a call my contacts are in and I need to schedule an appointment for the fitting. Okay, while I was on the phone I asked" if the lenses for my glasses are in" and she told me " I dont know", I said than who would? "We will have optical call you ... No call. ..So,I show up to my appointment for my contact fitting (another $50.00) and while I was waiting I asked about the lenses for my glasses. The receptionist said, "ask the optical department when my contact fitting is over". I sat there in the waiting room for 20 minutes watching the one person in optical stare into space so I just went over and asked .WOW, he could not have been more impersonal. "Okay,Ill look" then he disappears for awhile and said "they are on back order." Okay, when will they be in? "We will call you and let you know." Its going on a month now and no call....Between missing work ( because of their hours of operation not open on Sat) and out of pocket money even though I have an eye care plan ( which isnt their fault , isnt Obama care wonderful ? ) a pair of contacts and new lenses for my glasses has cost me well over $1000.00 ! Between the lack of communication between the staff and just plain poor customer service with the optical department is why 3 stars and not open Sat . The plus side is WHEN it was done got glasses and contacts it was done right.

I got Lasik done here. I looked at a couple places and Im glad I decided to go here. Dr. Izzo is great! Granted you arent going to leave feeling you have a new best friend, but if you want someone that knows what he is doing and has a team behind him that is just as good, this is the place! He is a perfectionist! It isnt the cheapest Ive found, but if someone is going to laser your eyes...I think there are better places to save money! I had bad vision, like -5.5 and -6. Slight astigmatism in both eyes. 3 months later Im 20/25 in both eyes and getting better every appointment! Took longer than expected but my prescription was pretty bad. Very Happy with the results and Dr. Izzo.

The first time I went for my scheduled eye exam as a new patient, they told me I was no where in the system and was not scheduled for an appointment (despite the fact I called in and made one weeks in advance). I was late to work and had to go at a later appointment that day. Dr. Luckey rushed through my appointment. I went back a week or so later to get my lenses switched out and they messed up yet again. I was there 45 minutes just to drop off a frame. I am never one to complain or write bad reviews, but I will not go back here again.

Berks Eye has done a great job taking care of my daughter and her husband. They both had eye surgery done and had excellent results. Ive purchased my last two pairs of eye glasses there and both were really good. There was a large selection of glasses to chose from and the prices were reasonable. The staff was both knowledgeable and courteous to me, and made sure I was satisfied with my glasses before I left. If you are looking for a quality facility, I highly recommend Berks Eye.

I have been seeing Dr. Tellez . He is keeping a watch on my eye pressure. He is very thorough and takes the time to answer my questions. Both my wife and I are always able to get appointments that suit us in a timely manner and the staff is always pleasant. The offices are clean and modern. The staff is is well educated and everyone works together to make this a great place. All of your eye needs can be met here in one place: exams, tests, procedures and eye ware.

I called Berks Eye as a new patient, as I was having irritation with contact lens wear. The office was very accommodating, and was able to see me the next day. When following up for my medical visit I proceeded with having a routine exam and contact lens evaluation with Dr. Horst. She was professional and efficient. The whole staff was amazing. I couldnt be happier with my switch the Berks Eye.

Physicians are terrific, but scheduling is horrendous, and in my last visit there I had a 2-hour waiting experience with about 7 minutes of direct care. No apology, no explanation - at any point along the way. I will be going elsewhere for care. I get emergencies - I am a health care provider - but I also know patients deserve transparency and courtesy. I got neither.

Berks eye is the best facility around for lasik. Dr. Izzo is an expert at what he does and made me feel comfortable the whole time in what can be a nerve wracking procedure. Im still seeing great after some time and cannot express enough how grateful I am to him and the office as a whole.
