Dr. Sherbyn Ostrich, VMD has been taking excellent care of our beloved family pets for many years now. What makes him so good? Well, other than the fact that he has saved my parents dogs and our kitties in the past, while other vets were "resting on their laurels," Dr. Ostrich continued to educate himself throughout the years which only served to add to his vast experience and knowledge of animals. He had opened his own animal clinic many years ago called "Cacoosing Animal Hospital" (which, unfortunately, is now owned and operated by the very greedy VCA Hospital who are, trust me, ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!). During that time, Dr. Ostrich was elected President of the American Veterinary Medical Association and had been away for three years. Upon recently finding out that he had started "Eagles Peak Animal Clinic," my husband and I decided to take our cat there for a second opinion regarding a cyst on his tail. VCA Cacoosing Animal Hospital had not surprisingly misdiagnosed him and upon examination, Dr. Ostrich, once again, accurately diagnosed our cats. He treated the cyst and we walked out with our cat in toe knowing he had been in the best of hands! And, for only half the fee which VCA would have charged us. The next day, I immediately had all four of our cats medical records transferred to Eagles Peak. I would highly recommend them. Dr. Ostrich is the best!!!

These people dont actually care about your animals, they just want your money. Napolean continues to have seizures but because of the staff being unwilling to actually acknowledge the issue, after having been seen more than 3 times for the same issue. The vet is unwilling to provide any medical attention to the cat outside of bloodwork, and even with the bloodwork they are unwilling to provide anti seizure medicine because they claim to need more of the same bloodwork done that costs more money, and will again lead to no results. We were told after getting blood work done to take him to an emergency vet for follow up - all he needs is seizure medicine for his hepatic encephalopathy, its sad that we understand his condition more than the supposed trained professionals at this establishment. Now we have to take our sick cat to a vet all the way in Kutztown because these people have taken over $500 from us and yielded no results - despicable.

Drs are polite very knowledgeable and come off as true animal lovers, they dont try and add a lot of unnecessary tests and work with you to keep costs low without cheating your pet of proper care. We have been coming here for years and our pets thank us for it

A warm, wood interior. Three staff is friendly, and professional. The doctor who started this practice, and has since retired, Dr. Selwyn Ostrich, yes Ostrich, is a pleasant man and a good veterinarian.
