I was very disappointed to find out after the fact, that Dr. Black participates with no Health Insurance programs, and that is why I was required to pay with Credit Card before the procedure. I was led to believe that "if they received a reimbursement, it would be routed back to me", but now that I know that they participate with no insurance, I know that there NEVER was a chance of any reimbursement. I would have gone to a preferred provider where I would have had reimbursement on the extraction of 4 impacted wisdom teeth for my daughter that my Blue Cross Platinum plan would have paid. My daughter was also told by staff that she would be "out" and not remember a thing, yet she was awake the entire time that they extracted the teeth, and she was in terror, not understanding why, or being able to communicate. A terrible, terrible experience.

I found Dr. Black to be congenial and very thorough. Ive read a lot of reviews and have spoken with people that say he is not personable. I did not find that to be the case at all. Regarding my teeth it was not an easy job. He kept on it and did what had to be done. He knows what hes doing. The receptionist was also very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend his office to anyone needing dental surgery.

I had all four wisdom teeth removed on July 7, 2017. I have had no postoperative issues, no swelling, and pain has been minimal at best. During the consultation before surgery, Dr. Black seemed interested in knowing a little about me, which I appreciated. He even went so far as to compliment the overall health of my teeth. My experience was of the highest quality.

Worst dentist I have ever been to! He was rude to say the least, never will I ever be going back! The fact he actually took my phone out of my hand while I was waiting forever for him even come into the room was only the beginning. I could rant all day but no one has time for that.
