Nice facility but beware of unnecessary work and excessive charges. If they recommend anything above cleaning I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GETTING A SECOND OPINION!!! You only have one set of teeth and most dentist will tell you need to try and keep them if possible!! We have been seeing Dr. B for close to 2 years. Dr. B and the staff is very nice, facility is clean (worth one star). However, we have chosen to leave this practice for two reasons. First, beware that for work they frequently charge you more than what Insurance has approved. You have to be a savvy consumer and keep track of what you paid them and compare to the Explanation of Benefits you get from your insurance provider. When we started adding up the additional charges it came to several hundred dollars that they owed us. I called several times and they acknowledge this and stated when they got the insurance premium they would refund me or apply a credit to the account. So far I have not seen either of those happen. The second caution is beware of them recommending unnecessary work. I started getting suspicious shortly after we started seeing Dr. B. My husband had been seeing another dentist for several years all of a sudden he had like 8 cavities when he saw Dr. B. He said some were deep but recommended only 1 gets a crown (at $500 a pop with insurance). We gave Dr. B the okay on the crown and scheduled the fillings for another day. When he started on the first filing he said the cavity ended up being deeper then he expected and needed a crown. There goes another $500. After the third filing that turned into needing a crown (over $1,500 in unexpected costs) when he did not have any cavities 6 months prior, my husband went to another dentist to get a second opinion. Dr. B says there are still 4 cavities one of which may still need a crown. The new dentist, confirmed my suspicions that my husband only has one small cavity that can easily be addressed with a small filing. For me, my most recent appointment the hygienist said that I had developed gingivitis due to my pregnancy and recommended additional and more frequent care (which of course would not be covered by insurance). Amazingly when I saw a different dentist they commented that there was not sign of gingivitis just some slight inflammation which is completely normal in pregnancy. I am now starting a full reconciliation of the over payments we have made to see if we can get the excess payments actually paid back.

I can say without hesitation as well as two six-month cleaning visits plus a number of visits in between for more advanced work, that Dr. Bakhtyari and his staff are professional, thorough, informative, and most of all, provide great results. After not visiting a dentist in a couple years, I knew I was going to have issues that had to be dealt with. A friend referred me to Dr. Bakhtyaris practice. First cleaning went well despite the expected outcome of being told I needed some cavities and crowns and one root canal. One of the things that I find frustrating with some pratices is that they seem impatient with questions and reluctant to provide full options and advice. Dr. Bakhtyari, however, was always ready to discuss details, show and explain all x-rays and scans, etc. He would present all reasonable options for treatment of each issue, the pros and cons of each, possible longevity of the completed work, costs, and what he would recommend. During the subsequent months of visits and work he and his staff were always concerned for my comfort and worked to minimize any pain of the procedures. For most visits Faith was the hygienist and she was great. She was patient with my nervous chatter, willing to offer both details, explain processes, and reassurance in equal measures. Given the amount of work I needed this was most appreciated as my anxiety over the possible pain involved in the multiple procedures is what had caused me to wait so long before visiting a dentist to begin with. Even the root canal process was relatively pain free. Ive just completed my second regular cleaning visit and things went great. Sarah (hygienist) was super thorough and my teeth felt great afterwards. No issues and clean teeth. Dr. Bakhtyari and his staff are always friendly and upbeat, willing to talk and always professional. The admin staff up front is also always efficient and friendly. I recommend this practice highly.

Imagine this happening to you. You get up on a Sunday morning and have a breakfast of cornflakes and discover that what is actually in your mouth is the cereal combined with 5 of your upper teeth. Yes, that really happened. They literally just crumbled out of my mouth as I was chewing. I get my dental insurance card out, called the emergency number and I am given 2 local locations. I chose Premier Dental Care only because I knew exactly where it was, and after all, this was an emergency. Thus started a 3 year plus relationship with this practice. I can not, I repeat, can not praise them highly enough. Every single person in this office From Dr. Bakhtyari to the receptionist has continuously made me feel very comfortable and welcome as a friend might be in their home. However, the best part is that I always laugh about something each time I am there. How many of you can say that you have had fun just going to the dentist? Well, I can. As I said, 3 years later with a complete upper jaw bone reconstruction and 6 implants, I still look forward to my visits. In my opinion; if this office is anywhere near you, you should become a regular; just like me. Hopefully not for the same dire reason but, for great dental care.

I went to see Dr. Bakhtyari today with my very fidgety, very active, 4 year old son who unfortunately had a cavity in an upper molar that needed to be filled. Honestly, I had a lot of anxiety as to how it was going to go, but Dr. B was amazing with him. When he got there he took great care to make sure my son was comfortable and to explain in detail, and in a fun way, how he was going to put his tooth to "sleep," drill the little buggies out, and fill it back up with "glue." He let my son play with the air and even let him squirt him with water which my son got a complete kick out of. What impressed me the most was that Dr. B even strategically told my son to close his eyes because he was going to flash a bright light on him while he injected the lidocaine into the tooth - and kept the light on him so he wouldnt open his eyes. My son was laughing, and happy the entire time and he was done in less than half an hour. Dr. Bakhtyari was excellent, excellent, excellent - and I cannot thank him enough for making it such a positive experience for my son. Im hoping we dont have any more cavities but if anyone in our family has any teeth issues - we know where to go.

Excellent service from all of the staff. Friendly staff at the front desk and to billing (Daisy) who works with you and your finances. Mary Ann is also very friendly and on top of things. She did my x-rays and assisted with Dr. B with my implants, fillings and crowns. Sarah did my cleaning and she is also very nice, she made me feel comfortable and takes times to answers my questions. Lastly, Dr. B is Awesome. I used to be scared of going to the dentist but when I started going to Dr. B, he explains each procedure to me before he does it and also very professional. He makes sure you are pain-free before he does anything to the teeth hes working at. :-) Thanks premier dental care for taking care of my teeth. :-)
