Dr. Andersons prescriptions are exacting, but customer service can be spotty. Having had great luck for several years, I recommended the practice to my wife and two of my friends. Unfortunately, all had bad experiences making appointments, getting copies of prescriptions, or receiving notification when to pick up glasses. Undeterred (but not inclined to recommend anymore) I recently went back for an updated prescription, glasses, and contacts fitting. More than six weeks later, Im stuck with faulty glasses, no contacts, and no written prescription. After three attempts and an odd string of miscommunication about appointments, supposed voicemail messages from the practice (without any record). and complete disinterest to help, I give up. Hopefully you fare better, I know its possible, but be prepared for some frustration.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andersons for 14 years. Great service, great value, lovely office. Dr. Anderson has even opened her office on her day off so that I could pick up contacts for our son before we left for vacation. She has worked in Laser and Opthalmology practices in San Francisco and her knowledge of both ocular and systemic pathology is amazing. I have never felt rushed or pressured. My family from out of town schedule visits with Barrington Eye when they are here. Its that nice.

Dr. Anderson has all the latest equipment to check your eye health and is a wonderful optometrist! I couldnt be happier with the glasses and contacts I have purchased from Barrington Eye Center.
