Showed up to my appointment and they had rescheduled it with no notification. Supposedly they left me a VM but I had received email and text confirmation that the appointment was still scheduled. Then they couldnt fit me in for at least another week and acted as if I was inconveniencing them when I asked for a sooner appointment. Also when I was able to make another appointment, same day elsewhere, I discovered Spindel had already charged my Eye Med insurance as if I was seen. I had to call Spindel back to get them to undo this so I could go to other provider. They have poor customer service and I was told initially, in a condescending tone, that if I came to my appointment without insurance cards I would not be seen. I am very happy to be done with them, I have not been pleased with them for a few years. This motivated me to switch to a much better place that is way more accommodating and respectful. Spindel used to be a great place but clearly they have gone downhill and are lacking in customer service, communication and ethical behavior.

I have had the most amazing experience this year at Spindel Eye in Derry, NH. After 25 years of having absolutely terrible vision, I can now wake in the morning and see the clock without the aid of contacts or glasses! The lasik procedure I had has taken me from 20/400 to 20/15 and was the most incredible thing ever. The surgeons, Drs. Vazan, Novey and Spindel have given me the greatest gift ever, sight. Dr. Sarah Wood did all the front end preparation and screening and assured me that I was in fact a perfect candidate, and the surgeons took it from there. I was in the operating room for less than twenty minutes, and I walked out with new vision. If you have ever considered Lasik or had the desire to make a massive transformation to your life, give them a look. They are located in Derry, NH. at the overlook medical building. I highly recommend them. The entrire team is without a doubt incredible. I waterski, coach and am very active where glasses and contacts just dont fit, now I will never need them again!

In November 2015 I had PRK vision correction surgery to correct my -9.0 glasses prescription (~-7.5 contacts). The process was seamless! The recovery was slow towards clear vision, as I had been informed, but I was able to see better than without any correction instantly. Now 6 months later I am very close to 20/20 vision and dont need correction anymore. It truly is a miracle! My only complaint is that I didnt do it sooner! Dr. Spindel and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional, they made the experience exceptional. I highly recommend this procedure through them.

My eyes have always been slightly dry, but as I got older it got much worse. It was getting so bad that I would use artificial tears all day long. I would have to use them 3 or 4 times just while watching a movie. Doctor Spindel told me about the IPL treatment for dry eye and I decided to try it. It has worked so well!. The difference in my eyes is truly amazing. I now use artificial tears only once or twice a week and am so much more comfortable! I would recommend learning about this procedure for anyone with a dry eye problem.

I just completed cataract surgery and astigmatism correction and my experience has been fantastic. I have been wearing glasses for 63 years and now with the above surgery, my eyes are 20/20! I was apprehensive going into the procedure, however Dr. Spindel, a consummate professional, answered my questions and put to rest my fears. The Spindel staff was terrific in setting up appointments and their follow through was excellent. I would gladly recommend Dr. Spindel and his associates to anyone that needs eye surgery.

A member of my family was recently charged 2 copays for one visit. They bill under 2 DX codes one routine one medical to get the most bang for their buck. This is insurance fraud. Call Emery Eye in Derry far more advanced eye care;0)
