Pick another health care provider! I first chose this office because of the walk-in availability and location. Big mistake! Dr. Grande is the most unprofessional and incompetent physician I personally have ever been to. His personal health should have warned me from the start. Severely obese, he can barely get out of his chair to examine his patients. His availability to his patients largely depends around his own personal healthcare treatment. While in the waiting room, I have heard several conversations between the receptionist/front staff and dissatisfied patients. After their phone conversations ended, the staff proceeded to speak openly in an unprofessional manner regarding the "patients problems" and how the patients were being unreasonable. I personally felt insulted by their treatment I not only witnessed, but also experienced myself. Getting in touch with this office by phone is nearly impossible. I once called the office for 4 straight days only to hear a busy signal. When I finallly got so fed up I drove to the office to find the receptionist alone with no patients in the waiting area. When asked if something was wrong with the phone system, she replied, "Im doing the best I can." Dr. Grande and his staff as a whole are unprofessional, incompetent, and rude. My family made the staff aware of our feelings. They made it clear they could care less to keep us as patients, blamed us for being unreasonable, and we have since moved on to a wonderful new practice.

I agree completely with Michelle Fs post! Dr grande has students and interns checking his patients because he doesnt ever get out of that chair! He favors men in my experience my fiancé and I both go and he always get what he needs and will see dr Grande, I on the other hand am suffering with an unknown medical problem because I get brushed off. The phone is always busy and the prescriptions called in are never right, but good luck calling them! Worst doctor I have ever been with in 32 years and Ive been to some doozys! My fiance is always talked to and joked with and taken first by staff while I sit there getting no attention to my problems and sometimes ignored while trying to speak to staff. The staff is completely incompetent. My advice, especially if youre female, dont go here if you actually care about youre health!

I just moved to Rhode Island and needed to find a doctor. Not knowing anyone in Rhode Island, I had no one to ask for a referral. I randomly selected Dr. Grande from my insurance list. Wow! I was very lucky with my selection! The front office staff was so nice. Dr. Grande was wonderful! Excellent bed side manner, good listener, and I never felt rushed. The nurse was also very friendly. I have a very positive experience and would highly recommend Dr. Grande.

Dr. Grande is the best D.O. in this area. I am now 60 years old and he has kept my motor running for decades. He is easy to talk to and he listens. He is honest, fair, intelligent, hard-working and extremely good at what he does. He is in the curing sick people business and does a great job at it.
