I called yesterday 26 july 2011. One of my dogs has a leg that is in pain. I will start by saying I am CRAZY when it comes to my dogs. I think I would rather feel the pain myself. I called and tried to explain how attatched i am. And won't stand for my kids being treated like livstock. I'm sure they were looking forward to meeting me!!! I have to say they fit me in, right away. The girls in the reception area were very helpful and i was cautiously optomistic. The doctor and vet tech that treated Mufasa, were caring, thoughtful, gentle, and most of all treated Mufasa like the best friend that he is to me.. The Dr. actually LISTENED, even though she was very busy, she took the time to explain everything. I look forward to having my Pal taken care of by her. Charges were also explained thoroughly and are very reasonable! The vet tech needs to be mentioned as well, she truly cared, and looked like she actually enjoyed her job. I will be telling everyone who will listen, what a great exp. Thank You SO much!!! Justin Overdeep Cumberland RI

We have been taking our pets to NSAH for years and find them to be the best in the business! Over the years we have bred and shown dogs and have been through just about all the animal hospitals in the area.. Dr.Allen and the staff at NSAH are heads and tails above the rest, providing the best care for our animals. They take the time to listen and explain. They have proven time and time again that our animals health comes first and the billing second!! We appreciate everything they have done for our animals through out the years..

I love NSAH! My 3 year old American Staffy has been going there since she was 8 weeks old. Dr. Keene is thorough, loving, and extremely gentle. Kim, and all the others that care for her, are so patient and loving as well. Minnie gets nervous going in, but she gets lots of extra love, belly rubs, and of course cookies, to make her comfortable! I cannot say enough great things about the amazing care they provide. Their prices are reasonable too! Keep up the great work NSAH.

Very good animal hospital, but the people that answer the phone and the vet techs obviously require some kind of training to be a little more pleasant rather than be rude. The doctors are great and understanding. Maybe they just dont like male customers?? This is not a good way to run a business in tough times! I dont believe Ill be going back there .Ive been going to North Smithfield Animal Hospital for over ten years now, and Im disappointed by the way Im treated.

If I could give it a 0 or -5 I would. Support staff in this place is so rude, I have never experienced worse level of service. They should either be fired or trained extensively on how to talk to people and how to have manners. They act like they are not paid and doing you a huge favor. I am not going there ever again.

My dogs love going here. The staff is friendly and caring. The doctors are thorough, and always make time to answer all your questions. (This has been my familys veterinarian since I was a child. I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else.)

I was a little nervous about bringing my min pin there but over all besides some rudeness on the phone what a wonderful man that doctor was! H and his assistant were incredible!!!! My dog means the world to me and I am bringing her back.

Great vets, friendly caring service. They were able to see my two dogs on short notice. My parents have been bringing their cats here for at least 25 years, finally having been there I can understand why.
