If you do not want to be ripped off, do NOT go to Aspen Dental. I went to Aspen Dental about two years ago. This was my first time visiting a dentist office in Florence. I was told that I had about four cavities that needed to be filled, and I was also told that I needed two crowns. I thought that sounded pretty reasonable considering that I had not been to a dentist 5 years prior to that visit, but after my costs were added up I knew something was wrong. Crowns are expensive, but the price that they gave me just did not look right to me, so I left and never went back. About a month after visiting Aspen Dental I decided to seek a second opinion. The second dentist office that I visited found NOTHING wrong with my teeth. I just received a cleaning at this dentist office. After telling friends, family, and some co-workers about my visit to Aspen Dental, one of my co-workers told me that she experienced the same thing. The staff gave her a ridiculously high estimate for the work that they were trying to convince her that she needed. I would NOT recommend this dentistry!

I had a ( free) and exam and x rays. For affordable care. I was total it would be 6047.25 dollars for dentures on top and partial on bottom teeth. I did not want a partial I wanted dentures all the way around but total I was not allowed to have that because I had 3 teeth that were good on the bottom. but was told that they would treat the paridontal disease on those three teeth. So how are they good teeth if they are diseased.? I insisted on a full set of dentures. Was denied that choice. Told it was un etchical to pull good teeth. Its ky mouth!!! But forced to get the higher priced partial. Last about 2 yrs. Scammers... And told the price they wanted of 6047.25 was a discounted price with coupons and discounts they supplied because I had no dental insurance .the original price was 8063.00. Affordable for who???? The dental clinic down the rd. A person can get all the extractions and full set of the same quailty material for less than 900.00 what a rip off and they hook up the financing!!! Scammers...

I was very disappointed with my Aspen experience. I found the people who work there to be highly impersonal and unprofessional. I was scheduled to have three fillings and to be fitted for a night brace. After the fillings, I was told that I would be fitted for a brace at a later appointment. I disagreed and told them that I was told that it would be done at the same time instead of having to wait. Tiffany, the receptionist, told me that she had initially told me that I would be fitted for a brace if there was time. I disagreed and vehemently told her that was not mentioned at all. I reminded her that I had mentioned that I was flying out of state and would need the brace and she had told me that it was made right there in the office. She told me I could come back three hours later but that was not doable for me so I told her to just cancel it. I will not be going back there. I will also not be recommending Aspen dental to anyone that I know.

I went to Aspen because I broke my tooth. They were kind enough to work me in, but when I got there they took an exray, and then I showed the dentist my tooth. She told me what my options were and then sent me up to the front to discuss paying for the treatment. I felt as if I was in a car dealership about to finance something expensive. The prices quoted to me were very high, so I told them that I would not be able to afford treatment, which I was told would have to be paid in full that day. Therefore, I was charged $50 for the "examination" and x-ray. In other words, I threw away $50. I was very angry. If I had known I was going to be charged such high prices that had to be paid in full that day, I would not have agreed to have an x-ray, and I had no examination to speak of. I subsequently went to a dental clinic where I had my dental work done at a greatly reduced cost.

From the start, leading lady Alesha took me inside and with having an appointment and knowing my problem, took the time to work me in. This was a breath of fresh air. The norm would have, "sorry the best we can do is 3 weeks"..Not at Aspen Dental. I was in the very next day at 8am. Thats when Jaquashia took over. Her presents was very claiming, she knew what she was talking about and was very thorough with everything she was doing. Then it was on to Doctor Pooja. She was very caring, making everything relaxing and claim. I then dealt with a young lady who was in charge of billing and that was even easier, considering I have no Insurance. Payment options right into my budget. Finally I met with Tia her professionalism was second to none. Again the whole staff makes you feel so relaxed....

I had to get 10 fillings and I had the female dentist Graham and she is just absolutely amazing. And the assistant, whose name I cant remember was just wonderful too, I do believe her name was Kia though. The dentist was caring with my teeth and she took her time and was extremely kind. She is compassionate and I think she does her job extremely well. I knew my teeth were trusted in her hands. My one complaint is the dark haired front desk girl. She talks way too low during phone calls, and she practically gives out peoples private information WHILE there are people sitting right there hearing everything she says. I personally think she needs to be WAY more discrete with her job. Other than that, I recommend the dentist Mrs(Ms) Graham, she is awesome!

When I schedule a dentist appointment I expect I would get my teeth clean. However I spent 2 hours there and they never cleaned my teeth. I was taken back an hour after my appointment time. They took several X-rays which caused my mouth to hurt during the x-rays. When they took me back after the x-rays I was told this was only an evaluation. After the evaluation they told me that the cleaning would cost over $800.00 after my insurance pays. If you ask me they are doing everything they can to try to get you out at as much money as possible there. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I am not one who normally posts ratings but thought everyone should know about Aspen Dental.

Went to the florence location and was given a treatment plan. Yes, it was a little expensive but I agreed to most of it. Then when I didnt agree with the rest that was to me not needed, thats when I got the attitude my the office manager. I was told I had to get the plan exactly as they came up with or I could not be seen and had to pay the whole 2800 up front. So I left that location and went to the sumter office which was a hell of a better experience. Im also deeply afraid of dentist and the dentist at the Sumter location is excellent. I had 7 shots in 3 days. I felt nothing at all. So I giving a good rating based on my overall experience. Not the florence office.
