The first time I went to Weiss Eyecare Clinic was a complete disaster and I will never go back. I previously had gone to Dr. Weiss at a different clinic before she started her own practice and I thought she was a friendly doctor, but my experience at her clinic was awful. When I called to schedule my appointment I told the scheduler that I had to have my appt set up for a certain date because my insurance only covers one exam per year, the scheduler ignored me and set up my appt or an earlier date assuring me that they just wouldnt run the insurance until that later date. (I realize that this was partially my fault because I shouldnt have let them set it up for an earlier date.) Of course about a month later I got an outrageous bill in the mail, one that I shouldnt have even received had they sent it through to insurance correctly as agreed. After fighting with them, they tried to resubmit it to insurance who of course denied it so Weiss gave me a "courtesy credit" for a portion of my bill leaving me to still cover the rest. Unfortunately this was not the end of my terrible experience. At my exam I paid for two boxes of contacts and the doctor told me I would receive them in the mail in the next 2 weeks. After 2 weeks went by I still hadnt received them so I called and told them. They told me to wait another week. After a week I still hadnt received them and called back. They told me to wait another week ( a total of a month) and after this period of time i STILL hadnt received them. This time when I called they proceeded to tell me that since it had been 30 days since shipment that there was no way I hadnt received them and that there was nothing they could do for me. After fighting with them for about another 30 days to either get my money back or send me the contacts, they finally sent me my contacts with a letter stating that they were a courtesy box of contacts.

I have been going to Dr. Weiss for a few years. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She is always up to date with the latest technology in equipment and in eye care health. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable and have all been working there for a long time. The clinic is clean and has a very relaxing environment. You almost forget you are there for an eye exam which can be uncomfortable for some people. I would highly recommend Weiss Eyecare Clinic to anyone.

Dr. Weiss and all of her staff are the perfect combination. Many times you go to an eye doctor and they merely say "Here is your prescription." There is never a good explanation, just a number. At Weiss Eyecare, Melanie explained in detail all that was going on with my daughters eyes. I completely understood and will now be a life customer. Thank you Dr. Weiss!

Going to Weiss Eyecare is a very streamlined experience from start to finish. Not only is your exam very comprehensive, they have convenient perks like text reminders!
