Visited FM Eyecare for my annual check -up of my eyes ... This was my second visit thus far. In my earlier visit, which was in 2013, I certainly felt the doctors were good, but for the front desk personnel who could be more attentive, responsible, consistent, fair and treat everyone equally. It was no different in 2015! On the day of my most recent visit (first week of Sep 2015), 1. The doctor said that he would be writing a letter to my PP that I could collect from the front desk next week. 2. The front desk personnel had asked for my Medical Insurance card (which was on the way, via postal mail). I mentioned to them that I would bring it to them (for them to make a copy of the same) once I receive. Since I received the Insurance card over the weekend, I called the FM Eyecare office this morning to let them know that I have the Insurance card and I could stop by to give them the Medical Insurance card (for them to make a copy). When I checked with them (on the same phone call) about the letter, I was told by the Manager that it would be ready for me collect when I stop by. So, here I go to their office, and kept up my words in providing them with my Medical Insurance card, which they happily collected, made a copy of it, and returned the Medical Insurance card to me. When I inquired about the letter, I was told that it was not ready !!! Only one of the front desk personnel sounded and treated me in a friendly manner, who did apologize for the inconvenience. I left their office hoping to receive the said letter by postal mail (in a reasonable time). I find it hard to believe that the front desk staff appeared quite unhappy, rude, and are unable to keep up their words, not to mention that I was not comfortable the way I was treated (for whatever reasons) and / or spoken to (except the only one personnel referenced above). I believe this would be my last visit to their office. While I do understand that it is a business, I also expect consistency, fairness and equal treatment in terms of customer service. I did inform the Medical Insurance company about this experience (as an FYI). I hope no one else is subjected to sub-standard treatment at FM Eyecares front-desk personnel. I would give zero or No star rating if allowed.

This one professional review for another professional office. I had a patient traveling in the Flower Mound area who ran out of daily disposable contact lenses over the weekend. Our office is in the Houston area and so the quickest we could provide the patient was an overnight shipment to arrive on Monday. I was greeted on the phone by a polite young lady whom understood my request and took all the pertinent information to get this patient all set for some trials until she received our shipment. I have not personally visited this office but if the phone etiquette and delightful conversation is an reflection of how this office operates (which is usually the case) I would highly recommend them. I must have called about 8+ offices that were all closed on Saturday and this office was the only one open. Thank you! Keep up the great work!

My husband and I went there, even after reading several reviews that did not come across positive. We went in and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I have never had to wear glasses. So this was my first time going somewhere to have my eyes examined. I would recommend them over and over. I was a wonderful experience. The frame selection was phenomenal. I do not need everyday wear, but did get some awesome Coach prescription sunglasses for driving (my distance needed some assistance!). The gentleman that assisted in the frame selection was professional, helpful, and very honest to my needs. Got the perfect pair after i tried on about 20! Thank you and will definitely be back!

I have had 2 bad experiences there, once i just felt like the receptionist was very mean, and the second time I called to schedule an appt for new contacts, while I was there they gave me an eye glass exam and then charged me for it. The receptionist didnt want to credit the eye glasses exam and I had to talk to the dr, i felt very unwanted and felt like I was supposed to say "wait, are you doing a lens or a contact exam" Not quite sure what the point of asking me over the phone what im coming in for, if there just going to test me for both. I switched to a new Dr because of the experience

Ok, I love this place! I love the doctor ! I love the staff! I love mny glasses and my frames! Each pair I have gotten over the past three years has been spectacular and just right for me! Yes if you want new lenses in old frames the man only works certain hours, but you can drop the frames off after work the day before and pick them up after work the next day...now if you dont have a backup pair, that wont work, but I have always found that the people at the office try to help me as much as possible. Again, so very very happy with my experiences over the past 3 years.

I have been buying my glasses from these nice people since I came to Dallas 15 years ago. They are professional, helpful and even gave me a price break when I had to reorder my brand new Silhouettes I left on a plane and never recovered. Something for most - very upscale frames (if you choose) and expert service. They make sure you get what you want and need and that your frames complement your face. More recently, my dog nearly ate my Tom Davies glasses and they helped me buy some new ones and fixed an older pair for free. These guys ROCK!!

I have ordered my last two pair of glasses from FM Eyecare Associates and both times I never received a call when the lenses were in. I eventually remembered that it was something I needed to check on after about a month and they said they had been sitting there for many weeks. This is ridiculous that company cannot call when your order is in. I should not be responsible for calling them randomly to check this. One time is an accident, but two in a row is a process as far as I am concerned. I will not be ordering any glasses from them anymore.

I have been here once and my husband has been here twice. The doctors are ok, but the ladies that work the desk are extremely rude. In addition, even though the doctors are preferred providers with our insurance plan, they chose mid year 2016 to "opt out" of the benefits our insurance provides. They told us this after my husband ordered an annual supply of contacts. We paid way more for contacts and glasses (also "not covered") than we should have. We definitely will not be going back to this eye doctor and do NOT recommend this office.

Awful customer experience - we visited this for my wifes eye check and got prescription. Looks like, they always do something that insurance does not cover. We ended up paying out of pocket. Their expectation is for us to buy glasses from them only. Since glasses were very expensive there, we wanted to buy from someone else. They charged additional $10 to just for measure PD, which is ridiculous. $10 is not a big deal, but it reflects their attitude. I do not recommend them for anyone else for their attitude.
