Eye exam was fine. Doctor prescribed me very expensive contact lenses when I have been wearing generic lenses that are half the price. Was traveling heavily last year and wasnt able to sit in one place to order contacts, so I waited 3-4 months to order the contacts. Found out they were half the price as the generics which are just as good. Called the doctor last week to ask if I could get changed to the generic brand that Ive been wearing for about 10 years, she said they normally charge $35 but shell let it go and to come in when Im back in town. I come back into town specifically to get this prescription and obviously with the heavy miscommunications in the office, 3 of the staff members tell me that I need to pay $35 to have them "refitted." Thats pretty frustrating, coming back into town for the prescription and being told I have to pay for it now. On top of that their staff kept putting me on hold and eventually got an attitude with me, which granted I was getting pretty pissed off at that point as well. For $35 they lost what would have been a loyal customer as well as a very dissatisfied review. I wonder if that was really worth $35? maybe to them. I would avoid Feather Eye Care, who has an office in the Walmart of Bedford Texas.

The ladies in the office (one of their names is Michelle) have HORRIBLE customer service, they hung up on me multiple times. Wouldnt fax my prescription over to 1-800 Contacts told me they were busy so i left work to go pick it up it took me 7 minutes to get there and there was NO ONE in the waiting room?? Like really are you that lazy that you couldnt take 1 minute to fax over paperwork for your customer that has already paid for their prescription? I have been going here since i was 16 years old i am now 26 that is 10 years and now you lost a customer because of your bad service up front. Be careful with this place they will not fax over your contract or help you in any way once you have left their office. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE EVER.
