Shes fabulous. Im also in the medical field, so I feel I know what to look for. She is level-headed, and yes, does know when to "brush off" certain concerns (or rather, offer reassurance). On the other hand, when I had a headache that was potentially dangerous, she got me in for an MRI immediately, and even went head-to-head with my insurance company to get it covered. She is not one to over-treat with antibiotics or order unnecessary and expensive diagnostic tests. She is knowledgeable about current medical research and guidelines and is committed to evidence-based practice, even when that means disappointing patients. If you want narcotic pain pills for a twinge in your back, antibiotics for a cold that started 2 days ago, or thyroid medicine for subclinical hypothyroidism (to help you lose weight and have more energy... in exchange for osteoporosis and heart dysrrhythmias), you should probably look elsewhere. There are plenty of providers out there willing to take your money and do that for you--but do it at your own risk. Dr. McDonald is the kind of physician who is truly committed to promoting health and doing no harm.

Dr. Mcdonald has been my primary for over a year and 1/2. I was in an auto accident and went to the ER and had a concussion amongst other things. I was told to follow up with my primary weekly to watch my concussion and check on the other issues. I called Mcdonalds office the first weekday after my wreck. Her staff informed me that they do not see people after an auto accident, leaving me with no doctor in a moment I needed it most. I called multiple doctors and as a new patient it takes weeks and months to get a first appointment. I had to go to a walk in clinic to get the care I need. Thankfully I have found a new doctor but I will never go to her office again and it is very sad and disheartening that a doctor would leave a patient with no care because the injury was due to an auto accident.

If I could give 10 stars I would! This doctor is fantastic. She is compassionate and kind and I would refer anyone in my family too her and am going to bring my children in to see her too because she does pediatrics. I had a problem that was brushed off by other doctors and she was she was the first to actually listen to me and was able to figure out what was the issue right away. I cannot say enough about her and her staff. And her office is new, clean and feels like home when I come in. I hope she never moves!

She doesnt listen. Serious problems were shrugged off as nothing. Im glad I decided to get a second opinion, it wouldnt be a stretch to say it may have saved my life.While some doctors are too quick to prescribe medication, she is too quick to dismiss symptoms. I was also pushed into receiving the Gardasil vaccination, which I did not want. **Please note, this experience was from around 2012.

Only cares about money and not the patients. Horrible office all around. I will never go back to this office again. They will bill you to wring as much money out of you as possible. Doctor is cold and staff is rude.

Professional, takes the time to listen and answer any questions, the staff is awesome , they value your time and wait is minimum. Facilities very clean . Highly recommend it They have the Wow Factor !!!

The doctor was very personable and the visit itself was fine. What wasnt fine was the coding used to bill me for the visit. Billed for services not received and the provider refuses to even discuss.
