I didnt mind them so much as first, really. They all are actually quite nice and helpful...the problem lies in the price (generally higher) and the care experience. I had a total of 3 or 4 appointments over about a year with our Husky. Every time I felt very rushed to "get the appointment over with"...I saw the same doc each time and had the same result: Very few answers to not a lot of difficult questions and a feeling that he really wanted to get back to whatever he was doing before we arrived. Keep in mind, I felt this way the whole time but only TRULY couldnt believe how unsatisfied I was until I went to a new Vet this morning, Enoch Veterinary, also of Gallatin. I visited McMillan in July 14 to see about my dogs bad appetite and seemingly painful and uncomfortable chewing / eating. They had two answers: Either a potentially fatal degenerative brain tissue disease or nothing really. I mean, talk about your spectrum of possibility?! I suppose I couldve asked about X-Rays, Sedation, etc...but none were offered so I basically just didnt know what to say...maybe Im an uninformed patient? Shouldnt matter considering the informed doctor?? Dont know. One visit to Enoch and we found out that the problem shes been having since at least before the McMillan visit is a serious problem controlling her tongue (possible nerve damage) and by accidentally biting it so much, eating is a terrible chore. If caught soon enough, effects couldve been mitigated....but not anymore...guess I shouldve passed on McMillan the first time. Sorry folks but our bad experience led to our dog being harmed irreversibly...all because it seems the doc doesnt care to explore every option necessary to help your pet. I hope other folks have good experience, and Im sure you might but as for us, weve found a new Vet.

Spent 230$ at this vet for a skin infection, because our regular vet could not fit us in. We were given food (wet and dry) and pills for her skin, which didnt work. I will not be trusting this vet with my baby again. HUGE waste of time and money. Would definitely recommend Enoch vet (our regular vet). Their prices are great and youre not prescribed medicine that doesnt work and or not needed. ***Update*** We went to Enoch Vet received excellent care and medicine! Our baby is starting to feel better and her skin infection is already starting to clear up! The vet appointment and medicine was not even close to over 200$. Please dont waste your time! McMillan charged us over 200$ and our veterinarian even admitted she had NO CLUE what was wrong with our dog. Unless its something simple (like buying tick and flea medicine) I wouldnt go to this vet. Enoch is the way to go!

Worst vet ever!! I take my dog in and they charge me $750 keep him for 2 days, tell me hes ok and improving... Needless to say my dog passed away the next day!! I go back there and they tell me what they did had nothing to do with his death!! Seriously!!?? He had a infection in his lip (Hes a English Mastiff R.I.P Chopper) that was very massive so all they do is lance it open and put a drain tube in then sent him home with me... Never did they do blood work on him too see if the Infection had made it to his blood ( Thats exactly what Michel told me when I paid them a visit the next day!!)!! All they wanted was too make quick money without the proper treatment!! NEVER EVER EVER will I take another animal there!!

We have been taking our Shelties to MacMillian Clinic for well over ten years. You will not find a warmer, more professional, caring, honest, thorough, dedicated to the pet and their owners staff anywhere else. They provide all those things and more. From the front desk to the doctors themselves, they provide to highest standards of service that we have been blessed by in four states we have lived in. They know us and our pets by name and care for our animals as if they were their own. SO you know, we have no connections to this clinic other than as very pleased clients of theirs. We highly recommend them for one visit or many with confidence your experience will be a good one.

I have been taking cats to McMillan Clinic for 20 years and dogs for 8 years. They are great diagnosticians, compassionate, communicative and give options. I never ever feel they are trying to sell me on more expensive treatments and go to great lengths to give options and the price ranges. Dr. McMillan and Dr. Kauffman usually see my pets and I trust them both emphatically! The Drs. have had to meet me there for emergencies on weekends and holidays before to treat my dogs after accidents. I know I can count on them! The staff is friendly, caring and you see the same staff year after year! That speaks well of the Doctors too!

It is hard enough to find a quality vet, but even more so for bully breed dogs. Ive been so fortunate to work with McMillan Vet Clinic! They are very knowledgeable and caring. My dogs get SO excited every time we go see the staff, and the staff always recognizes us by name. One of my dogs is missing an ear, and Dr. McMillan is the only vet thats ever been creative enough to come up with some options to improve Ludos quality of life. Also wonderful that they take Care Credit so that emergencies arent nearly as much of a financial hardship.

Our family (two generations) has used McMillan Veterinary Clinic for years! They have always given superior care to our pets and made sure all of our questions and concerns are addressed. I have a little Morkie that goes to her "spa" appointment every other week and she loves seeing Donna and Katrina. Drs. McMillan, Kaufman, and Mitchell are all well educated, knowledgable, and compassionate docs. You wont find a better vet clinic than McMillans ... they are top notch!

I absolutely love McMillan Veterinary Clinic. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat and they have treated them all for years. I recently had an experience with one of my dogs on a Sunday evening and Dr. Mitchell met me at the clinic and offered the BEST of care. I was surprised because most vets are closed on weekends and refer you to the pet er on Sundays and after hours. They are very polite, professional and always willing to answer questions.

Dr. McMillan and his staff are the best! We just moved here from Texas with 6 dogs one who gave us a new litter of 5! Our puppies were well cared for as well as our old ladies. We were seen on time with no waiting and were allowed as much time as we needed to have all our questions answered and medications explained. There may be less expensive places to take your beloved pets but nowhere will they be better treated.

Best vets and staff in Gallatin. Maria at the front desk is always helpful and friendly. Dr. Mitchell is great with both of my dogs. Jeff the groomer is amazing with my bully that HATES baths and nail trims. They always do everything they can to make my dogs comfortable and make sure they get the best care available. They are not the cheapest vet in town, but I wouldnt trust my dogs anywhere else.
