This is the most loving, caring, sincere staff/practice that I have ever been to. I adopted a kitten as a therapy companion to help with the recent loss of my daughter. The kitten suddenly became ill and I had a financial situation where I could not afford to pay for the emergency services until the following day. Due to this, we were turned away from several other clinics even though they could see the kitty was in desperate need. Clarke was the only vet in Muskegon that would help us. They were willing to let me pay the following day and/or make a payment arrangement. (Please do not expect to make a payment arrangement with them, as this was under special dyer circumstances.) Sadly, the kitten was sick with Feline Infectious Paritinitis and passed away at Clarke. I was absolutely crushed and still left with a small bill. That evening, I got a call that someone took care of the bill! Then I recieve the kindest sympathy card in the mail with a very sweet poem inside from the staff at Clarke. Their overall standard of genuine care is so amazing. We have 3 other animals who will be taken from the clinic who turned us away that day, now to be seen only at Clarke. Im convinced after the way we were treated in this situation that this is the only vet for us.

Weve been to this vet twice this month and so far both times were good experiences. We saw two different drs. Both seemed very knowledgeable and we got more info about possible solutions to my dogs issues (chronic UTIs and food allergy/skin issues) than at our previous vet. That said, we will be finding a new vet. They are incredibly expensive and charge for every little thing. The first visit was over $300. We went in looking for a coritzone shot for the itchies and we did a blood test to look for underlying issues. She got an injection of something, but not cortizone, and it did not help with the itchiness even though I told her that was the only thing that had worked for her in the past. Todays visit was over $200. We went in for a UTI and the urinalysis alone was $48 where at our last vet only cost us $15-$25 if they even charged us for it. Plus the cost of the exam, the xray to check for stones, the antibiotics...Everything came with a hefty charge. If you have the money, then this vet absolutely is a great option. Otherwise you might want to search for someone cheaper.

I cant say enough about the wonderful service that I have gotten at Clarke Animal Hospital. I actually have been going there since the 1960s when we had our family dog go there. I now have two cats, and they have always gotten EXCEPTIONAL CARE at the clinic. My older cat has had a tumor removed and not only was the medical care above par, but also the compassion shown by the staff was wonderful. I now live 2 hours away and it broke my heart to have to change to a clinic close to my new home. I do, however, still call to check on a diagnosis or treatment that I received from my new clinic. I really miss the smiles and friendly greeting that I would always get at Clarke. If you want great medical care for your pet, Clarke really is the best.

I have been going to this Vet for a very long time. I lived in Chicago for a year and still came back to get the best care possible. Clarkes whole staff is very welcoming and genuinely care about your fur babies. Dr Harden is a great Veterinarian. He knows his stuff and I trust him with everything! I also love that they have the paw plans so you can save money and get the care your pets deserve! Thank you Clarke staff for always being so amazing!

When we adopted our dog six years ago we were told she had been taken to Clarke Animal Hospital since the previous owner adopted her. We figured we would give this vet a try. Im happy to say we have always been extremely happy with this vet and any future pets we have will be taken there as well. The staff is friendly, they are very good with my pet and the facility is always clean. I highly recommend Clarke Animal Hospital to everyone I know!

The best animal care I have ever experienced... A few years ago they did surgery on our pit bull removed carpet from his stomach on a payments when know one else would help....and today or chihuahua almost died and our normal vet wanted us to wait 3 hrs. Clarke said how far away, we got in the car and drove all the way there and they squeezed us in. Did all test required. They fixed him. All staff so caring..Im hooked will be coming back!

They are the worst! They charged me 16$ for a bowl of water not to mention they are suing me because I didnt want to pay for their wellness plan. They are money hungry ppl! Their prices are unreasonable. I payed more in the wellness plan than the actual bill. It was my first and thee last time Ill ever go to these wolfs in sheeps clothing. Stay away at all cost!

Doberman Pinscher ear cropping. I cant really write a bad review didnt have ear cropping done here. Pricey at around $650.00 Instead went to Animal Medical Center Wyoming MI. Dr. M. Levin 30 years experience for $334.50 Doberman had to be between nine to twelve weeks. No food after 9:00pm and an overnight stay. Also paid in advanced. Hope this helps others. :)

Wont be taking my dogs there! They will not even try to work with me as I got a dog from someone on the puppy plan. They will not let me take it over and wont even let me get her flea medicine until we figure this out. They also refuse to forward the medical records to another vet so I can get her up to date. Very rude and uncooperative.

Pricing was right on,and the compassion when it was time for us to have to send our sweet girl up to heaven. I would recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Steve is the only sort of good quality vet there. They have been sold and are corporation owned now, not a good choice for you or your pet. Drive to Robbins Road Animal Clinic in Grand Haven. You will get ripped off there like I was.
